Hey everyone, today we’re ranking Dead by Daylight’s killers from easiest to hardest. For this video I want to use the tiers that are visible in game. I actually started this back with the old tiers, and so I’ve updated it with the new tiers, which are Easy, Moderate, Hard, and Very Hard.

Chapter 24 has been leaked, and based on the teasers we’ve received so far, they appear to be real! We’ll see soon with the anniversary stream!

  1. I personally think that they should split the difficulty into 2 categories: "Complexity" and "Difficulty"

    Some killers have very complex powers, but ones that are very easy to master (ex. Onryo), while others have very simple but very hard to master powers (ex. Nurse).

    I feel like a lot of the weird difficulty ratings on BHVR's part are them trying to tie these 2 together. Nemesis is classified as "Very Hard," but really it's just a complex kit that is quite easy to master.

  2. I like to think that BHVR labelled the killers difficulty as "how easy is it to understand thier power" rather than "how easy can a new player pick up and play this killer"

  3. As a console Billy main, YES couldn't agree more, oni I feel would be hard because you have the least amount of time in his power to practice with only short intervals

  4. I'm a blight main myself and the part where you say that blight is harder for console players is just so true in my opinion its the frame drops I get while rushing and I find that when I play on my PC/which I rarely do I do so much better even tho I'm not used to blight on PC.

  5. From my Experience as a Beginner in this game, Pig is very easy for me to learn. My Main Problem is that I'm overestimating the range of my basic attacks due to greed 😀 First time I had fun playing this game, since I started with her. No using the afk strat tho. But I get it that my experience mainly comes because I'm low rank and playing against low rank. I can imagine that it's not so much fun against better skilled players. Freddy confused me when i tried to play him. Oni wasn't that hard to play for me. But he's pretty much "easy to learn, hard to master" with learning when to use your power and stuff. I don't have too much Killers and din't used so much, so I can't really tell about the others. I want to play Ghost Face in some Time in the future.

  6. TBH I find Plague to be relatively easy to play and quite a lot of fun. When the round starts I go from generator to generator and vomit on it, I make sure I vomit on the pallets as well. When I notice survivors are getting infected I go back to the generator I vomited on, chase the survivor, puke on them a few times to ensure they reach red stage infection and whack them with my flail to easily down and hook the survivor. I go back to the generator and kick it before vomiting on it again.

    Whenever I play Plague I tend to get 3 – 4 kill rounds if I am in the mood to kill but I tend to screw around, vomit on survivors and repeatedly say "yummy yummy."

    As for the red puke I don't actively go to the basins to drink it in, I let the survivors decide whether they want to use all the basins to get cleansed and cop the red puke or stay infected and leave me with the green puke.

    IMO Plague plays best on small to medium outdoor maps, she does even more well on larger maps like the Crotus Prenn Asylum, Temple of Purgation and Ormund as they are maps you can apply a fair bit of pressure on, other than that she's relatively weak on larger maps like Haddonfield, Coldwind, Azrov's, Backwater Swamp and Raccoon City Police Department.

  7. with the easy medium and hard ratings they are for the perks if you look at Dwight for instance you have leader bond and prove thyself which will almost always come in to play and are not very situational while Lori on the other hand all of them are situational and you won't get value from

  8. Haven't even watched yet, but if I see hillbilly not on first place on difficultness imma be surprised.
    Edit: Not dissapointed. the amount of people forgetting how hard billy is annoys me

  9. The things that differ for me:
    Trickster – easy, because you really don't need to be good to win;
    with Oni I'm leaning more toward hard bc I'm dumb;
    Hag to me should be moderate bc sometimes I could win without perks;
    Executioner – I think moderate or hard at best, the only hard thing about him is his ranged attack and for me it was learned in about 5 games;
    Hillbilly I would put a bit lower bc I only have trouble with geting used to his wobbly movement and landing chainsaw hits but yeah, some matches are hard due to being cluttered (also I just wanna mention I love the sound of his basic attack – so satysfing)
    The rest I either agree or haven't played yet but I guess new players or someone who has trouble learning killer would probably put everything much much higher

  10. When you say Executioner can bypass meta perks what do you mean?

    Also you forgot to mention that Onryo can Mori too

    Also as a Blight main on Xbox I can confirm it is tough but so rewarding and fun
