These moris kind of cross the line from horror to almost action. It really loses that frightening feeling. Too fast and animated, somehow losing all personality.
You have great ones that show Killers' personality, like GhostFace taking a picture with his victim or Trickster throwing an autograph before it gets impaled into his victim. Nemesis and Dredge are great because there's room for implication. It doesn't show what ultimately ends up happening, but lets you hear and somehow that's more terrifying. But in nearly all of the good moris, there's a buildup and then a climax. These are just non-stop brutality. Turning moris into Mortal Kombat fatalities isn't the right creative direction to go with, imo.
Now that trapper will get a new Mori with his upcoming Naughty Bear cosmetic, I really hope some of these cosmetic locked moris make it to the base game too.
The dbd mobile devs are honestly absolutely amazing, these mori’s make genuine fear out of these characters, I didn’t even know that you could do that with the legion
