This is a very simple guide going over the most common “tiles” or structures that appear in several maps. Each tile is described briefly and there’s a some examples of how to run them as each side. I’ve also included some common mindgames (from both perspectives) but please keep in mind that these are risky and do not work against every player.

Sorry for some of the background noise heard in this one. Again, this is a simpler guide mostly made for beginners. Another purpose of this video is to have a common way to name tiles so that you and your friends know exactly what you're referring to when you play together. Thank you everyone. 🥰
So this proves that Lerys deserves it own video, great informative video btw NotOtz
Learning how to run tiles is an ESSENTIAL skill in looping. What a great and helpful video otz 🙂
geez I can't keep up with all the amazing videos, still havent finished nice guy build, sweaty build and perk video.
Nicely put. I play at higher MMR and while I have a working knowledge of tiles (usually) I find myself needing a refresher like this one from time to time. 👍
Do a grass patch tier list
If I can offer some constructive criticism?
You say things like "this window is very strong against certain killers", but you don't really explain why or examples of the killers. New players won't understand what makes a window strong or weak.
English is not my first language, so when I started watching DBD youtubers, I always thought that they were saying "Jungle Jim"
Guide for killers when
Kinda unclear on what to do as a killer
Can we all appreciate otz
i actually kinda needed this.
I can run most loops decently methinks but some tiles feel so godamm dogshit i just can't do anything.
Otz is explaining and his teammate is in the background fighting for their life
Thank you thank you thank you! Sometimes i just need refreshers for loops and there are loops i straight up don't get. This is perfect!
I really hope that new survs watching this now understand why they shouldn't drop strong pallets as soon as they see it, it's incredibly frustrating
YES YES YES I've been loking for something like this
this video is a godsend
THANK YOU
even though im not new in the slightest this is actually really helpful as someone who never really looked into the best pathways to take on these. I just guessed as survivor and usually do well, but guessing as a killer leaves me screwing myself over a lot. Thanks!
Otz is a goat
tysm
Thanks Otz! I mainly play killer so gonna use this guide as a way to predict how my survivors are gonna path haha
"Nothing super exhaustive or in depth"
40 minute video
i find your content more interesting than actually playing dbd nowadays. game kind of became stale and circle of healing is just frustrating as killer. one day bhvr might fix their shit and actually improve the game…. maybe
I think for shack it would be worth to mention that gen can spawn in the middle. That affect good chunk of the killers.
Genuinely surprised it's not a 10 hour video with ALL the tiles
I started playing dbd because of otz, I stopped because of bhvr being a pain in my assholes, but I am still watching otz. Great success!
me watching this video knowing damn well i won't take much away as ive played for over 4k hours but still clicking and watching anyway
Otz (according to BHVR) is really setting himself up for the 8 hour "All Main Buildings Explained" video
L-T walls have always been my favorite, very fun to fake the windows on either the L or the T
18:34 I love how the crouches are in sink with the “always always”
Me with ~700 hours watching this and realizing I’ve been running most loops wrong the entire time 😬
i feel for beginners there is too much explanation and it should as simple as possible.
You're clearly a legend in this community man. Props to you and all you already did, wish you the best.
DBD Is washed up
I swear, otz cares more about this game than any of the devs lmao
