Skull Merchant kidnapped my dog and ruined my marriage.
Old legion at least had to still chase you, its better than holding you hostage for an hour
If they would make her a tracking killer and took away the free injury she would be great! Like if you get scanned three times you get a claw trap but it wouldn’t injure you and I think it would be fine if it still hindered you
Old legion, no contest, skull was at least slightly viable as killer and old mending was stupid
“The worst designed killer of today vs the worst designed killer in history”
Ayo not sure when you hit 200k but congrats! You still peaked with the coolwarrior61 vid
Skull merchant players pressing 1 button to make survivors leave the loop
Did you do it in time?
The thing about legion is there was at least somewhere to GO with his kit. With some changes here and there they took away the unintended and unfun BS and created a pretty alright killer. Skull merchant has proved that nobody has a single fucking clue as to what can be done to keep her identity and still have something fun to play against.
With old Legion you'd still die eventually. Skull Merchant holds you hostage for an hour.
I rest my case.
Battle of the most insufferable mfs in existence
DC Merchant
Congratulations on 200k subs Scott

You look like a rehabing alcoholic. Or a guy with allergies. Get better soon!
I'm down for a video talking about… marketing mishaps in dbd.
With legion none of their marketing killer was telling the players they were getting a killer that only ran fast and stabbed multiple people.
Sure we got a killer who was supposed to move and vault like a survivor but players honestly thought they might have been getting a killer who could disguise themselves, a killer with some kind of mask changing mechanic, or a killer who would actually be a 4 in 1 character. Basically the marketing portrayed something a lot cooler than what the players got back then.
Here's another example, players thought when the Unknown was teased that we were getting a crawling killer. Unknown does not crawl (at leaset not in gamelplay) and while I like the UVX cannon, no way in heck did any of us see that coming. But I can't help imagine that if they portrayed in the teasers the uvx stuff that players would still be really excited and would not at all have felt confused when we finally saw the Unknown launch.
Yall got anymore examples?
Edited for a small bit of clarity*
I gotta detox from DbD permanently, too many bad memories inextricably linked to the time period playing this game. One more like and comment for the algorithm road before I disappear. All the best to you and yours scoot man.
Skull merchant is worse by far, no gameplay involved. Legion at least had to act like a killer and wasnt like that for long. It also took longer to cheese it as Legion than to just play regular. For Skull merchant the cheese is the gameplay. Its a no brain gameplay loop that boils down to "did you use power? yes=win / no=lose"
your content is that easy to make
skull merchant: they had way more time (more experience) to design something better and they didn't
