I think it’ll either be predator or I could see Slenderman like he pointed out in a previous video. Strong points for both. It won’t be fnaf though, I’m confident. Why only add a killer and not anyone else for what would easily be one of dbds biggest chapters? I think they’re gonna wait until the movie releases, and do a map based on the pizzeria, and they can add a survivor too. I think they’d make more money that way from the license than if they just added spring trap. I also strongly do not think it will be…well, IT. If a chapter doesn’t have a map, i think it’s usually because there is a lack of a good, unique environment in the source material. But Derry would make for a perfect map. It would be silly not to add the map, and most importantly not add a character for a survivor? What? IT has a bunch of people to make survivors out of, why not do it? No survivor makes more sense for predator or Slenderman, as they don’t really have notable corresponding “survivors”. It’ll either be Predator, which makes the most sense since alien just came out, slenderman, or someone we’re not thinking of
i know it´s unlikely, but i´m really rooting for fnaf here. predator would be cool i guess, but man, we just had alien chapter right now, so 2 sci-fi killers in a row?! hell even give me slender. just hope they come up with something different, maybe get predator in the game a couple chapters from now. it would be a lot better imo.

From my understanding it says the next live stream is for the release of the next chapter (the day it releases) and not a separate stream as a reveal or ptb. So reveal and ptb won't have a stream, just release day.

I think Eric Pope really meant the release of the chapter instead of the PTB, because his sentence: “next stream is set for release*, not reveal, *of the next chapter FYI!” If you remove the ,not reveal, the sentence would be: “next stream is set for release of the next chapter”, which implies it’s about the chapter, and there (probably) won’t be a livestream for the PTB/Teaser (also because he says next stream, so the first stream, and they obviously won’t do a livestream about the release of the chapter and then after that a livestream about a teaser or release for the PTB)

I don't know. It might be a Mandela effect but I kinda remember that they did the same thing in the past where they went on a livestream to present the new killers powers and perks. Not counting the anniversaries livestreams.

Rundown: The killer will be teased until the livestream takes place. Once it does the devs will be like: PTB is happening right now get to it, like how they did it with some other chapters. From what I remember Wesker was one of them.
With the release of The Nun 2, it doesn't make sense for the killer to be The Nun, cuz of something big and for the hype at the same time?
If the chapter is Predator, I do wonder if it'll be a financial success, or kinda flounder like the Alien chapter. I'm beginning to worry that even though these are great licenses, the market for classic horror fans to be be brought into the playerbase through these tie ins isn't as huge as it used to be. Or at least over the years, a large amount of the people who would get DBD to play as their favorite horror movie characters have already been brought in, through the addition of characters like Myers, Leatherface, or Ghost Face.
If so, maybe we'll see them shift towards favoring licenses that are newer or from different mediums, since both Stranger Things and Resident Evil were huge hits for them.
