should have an addon that makes the ambush sound global it would be so funny
ok but do razor wires trigger the health state damage when the survivor has a skillcheck when they're been spooked off the search? e.g. skill check pop up, pig shows up and scares off the search, survivor lets go of m1 to stop the search while the skillcheck has not been hit
I have used Hex:plaything and the blindness addon a lot recently, and it have been a pretty good combo i think, it either wastes more of their time or they are easier to get.

Will double iri just randomly trap one survivor at the beginning? I wish the description on video tape was more clear about what it was actually doing with respect to the pool of traps.
bug pig impossible to win trap don't kil
I had a bug with video tape during one of my matches. One survivor wasn't able to get the trap off before the first Gen popped, so the trapped activated, but she played the entire game with it on and never died, it wasn't beeping or blinking, she even escaped through that gate with it on, and this has actually happened twice, so idk whats with that
My favorite addons are Video Tape and Rule #2. I always get 4ks when I use these addons. It adds a ton of pressure to the survivors and its just great.
Hey, both interlocking razor and razor wire reduce skill check size. They don’t stack but they reduce the size by around 70 ish(?) percent.
Got insta killed by a hacking pig where she had everyone start with the traps, had all the gens 99% at the start, and all the traps had zero timer so you instantly died. Me and my friend went for the traps and managed to get them off before another surv did the gen but the pig just teleported to us and lightly downed us lol

A personal build I like is RUSTY ATTACHMENTS with INTERLOCKING RAZOR, it deters them from healing with an active trap off of hook as it wastes time from searching boxs, and if they fail a skill check they need to waste time mending (basically takes 12 seconds from timer)
you can also run this with THANATOPHOBIA for extra slowdown synergy

But I've been using the wound and injure addons as of late. I want too try tape with jigsaw or #2
I've actually found my self using "Workshop grease" together with "Last will" alot
i use Crate Of Gears and Wokrshop Grease is that a good combo? i want 1 for slowdown and 1 for my dash
Recently had an op bug as survivor, prove thyself was active permanently throughout the match, even if I was by myself on a gen I had 15% increased speed.

i thought double gears used to make traps 60% slower and now only 50%
Am I the only one that think Great skill checks on the boxes should be removed and be like doctor madness skill checks? Sometimes that can be HUGE and literally decide the game if the survivor is cutting it close. (also maybe addons that reduce the size of said skill checks? idk)
Hot take but I feel as if Ruleset No.2 is still a trash add-on.
The what could be described as best case scenario is they wander semi-aimlessly trying to find a box. You can then ignore them because they aren't doing anything. Worst case is they actively do a generator, the very thing the RBT is trying to stop and it goes first search.

I’ve used last will and if u use combat straps with it u can test to fake ambush on a loop or if they stay u can over exaggerate the fake and on even good survivors it work, ive also tried it with workshop grease but idk wich is better
I’m not very very high MMR. But at decent MMR I used Razor Wires with Video Tape and got major value getting a few hits for free without even finding survivors and then snowballing with the free downs after finding them.

Instadown pig: razor wire and video tape, you ambush someone doing their boxes at the start and if you are lucky they will get a skillcheck and get injured right before you launch at them. It happen to me once
I think the video tape should apply 4 traps at the start of the game but also grant you 1 or 2 extra traps. I notice with the pig add ons, that they would be really good for when you had 3 add on slots instead of two.
