well if this event is lame, the halloween event was bad then, at least you can goof around in a snowman. what did the pumpkins do? nothing i noticed except for maybe a few extra bloodpoints
The event ins't lame, its just more balanced then last years, the only ones who loved bone chill last year were the survvivor mains who could gain up to 4 health states with the snowman PLUS old dead hard
Knight sucked, Event sucked, BP incentive were off for like a week, game is still buggy from Killer release. Entire 3-month period for right now is not looking good until next release.

Yes this event is kind of a let down. I thought they would introduce something new. I get why you can't take hits with snowmen anymore and while I personally don't like the change it was something that needed to be done. It should be risky to get in a snowman and hide. If you get caught you need to deal with the consequence just like hiding in lockers.

I take this more chill, I do wish we had a secondary objective, and extra bloodpoints.
previous Bone Chill event was the best event they ever had. They changed two crucial things, escaping in the snowman and taking hits with a snowman, and it killed all the reason to use them unless you want to mess around. They shouldn't have done that, no matter how busted bodyblocking was.
I’m taking a much needed break from dbd right now but I knew as soon as I read about the event I probably wouldn’t play it. Like you said, not bad but they’ve shown they can do better. They should’ve added some sort of unique thing to it to mix it up. It rlly just feels kinda lazy on BHVR’s part.
Not that it was lame, its just not meta. Snowmen use to be fun but when they became a meta thing it got so strong, now they aren't meta people will complain.
I think it's healthy that the snowmen don't let you take hits, but they need to add something to them next year that gives them a point other than being a little funny thing to do for both sides of the event, which really puts them in a bind as the halloween event was literally as perfect as event can be IMO but I also don't just want them to ape the void thing for the holiday event too.
Sure the event was lame but wasn;t so lame when a 99% t3 myers sits in the snowman near a gen and you get down bc of it.
I like how you mention the fact that sure it's better but we are now expecting more than this after almost 7 years
I don't understand why people playing this game feel so entitled as if Bhvr owes you an entirely new game for every event they do. I think it's fine. I don't expect them to give me an entirely different experience to the game than the one I signed up for. Seems like everyone just loves being dissapointed.
I have a theory, remember the last mid chapter was Very disappointing but the event that came out at the same time was great. Maybe this event is disappointing but we'll get more I. The next mid chapter might be great as they've already pretty much confirmed solo que buffs
What is your thoughts on the BHVR tweet where they are finally adding icons next to names for solo q. Which shows what actions they are doing. I think its great finally a buff for solo q.
I like the event because most people play more relaxed. The amount of times I have escaped/let the survivors escape just because someone started doing silly stuff with the snowmen XD also we got amazing skins for free, and really cute charms.
Honestly I suspect they were working on a better Christmas event but time crunch didn't let them do it so they dug out the old snowman event, made some easy changes, and put that out. The Anniversary and Halloween events were great. That's what I feel like may have happened.
I thought the event was just snowmen and outfits. I guess there was goals but like thats not new or interesting.
