why cant mmr be like the emblem system? u get pips for what you do in the game and imo thats how mmr should work,not kills or escapes
Honestly the emblem system was a good concept for matchmaking rating, it just needed a lot of work

This must be a stream talk… is the theory that the entity wants suffering (Hooks?) haha
My understanding is that it was supposed to be "entertaining" the entity, that this whole thing was literally a sick game repeating for eternity to appease a malevolent deity. Obviously we don't fully understand the "mind" of the entity, but applying our own capacity for entertainment implies a competitive environment. My analogy here is would be like all 5 members in league of legends running as a ball from the start and trying as hard as possible to prevent one player from existing. It is "allowed", but as you increase in skill, it is just throwing the game for the sake of targeting one player. It may be entertaining at first, but would it be for extended periods when it pretty definitively tanks the game?
