  1. It's important to remember in games like this, when you win, someone else has to lose (even 3 or 4 people in the case of a killer win). People don't want to play a game that they lose 80-90% of the time. If survivors or killers consistently won 80 to 90% of games, then the game would definitely be survivor or killer sided.

  2. When I was new to the game I enjoyed winning because it showed me progress and learning things to be able to 4k in general. Now, with my life being busy and not focusing as much on the game I could care less about winning it’s a game where I can turn my brain off and just try my best. Sometimes your best is not good enough, for the people who get upset by losing, I get it, but have other goals it will allow your brain to have more fun and play longer.

  3. Theres a streamer that i keep having the misfortune of playing against called DrussNBubba that always hard tunnels out the gate and if you confront then they'll complain that they're a pig main and you cant win 10 times in a row as a pig without tunnelling and you cant tell them thats an unhealthy mindset cuz you'll get muted for 10 minutes the second you day something. Many people think like this which sucks but its funny to try and make it your career with that mindset

  4. I think the worst part about it on the killer side is that if u are losing constantly u have to endure a full game of it, survivors can kill themselves off if they want, all a killer can do is try no matter what or sit and wait, i think killers should have an option to give up if they want to, they should be able to open the exit gates at any point and just let the survivors go, cuz in all reality it would help the mental health of the community

  5. I felt weird not caring about winning even though i am p100. This video cleared my doubts. I mean if i wanna win i can tunnel slug etc. But i try to improve my shots etc and have fun.

  6. I've had a rule of thumb for how matchmaking in theory should work: For every game you get crapped on as killer, there will be a game where you're the one crapping on survivors. The inverse is also true.

  7. I'd say, maybe it is placebo… But since the softcap was raised I have had more fun games… But also my winrate has increased.

But, really, I was shocked by the fun games win or lose… Like, I am not sure what it was, but until now (and by now I mean a few days ago when I played last) I can't remember so many challenging games that weren't just me being stomped or an honest to goodness bully squad.

But maybe that's just what I have been expecting so I am just seeing it where I was blind to it before? Maybe… I'm not sure.

  8. What I don’t like is the inconsistency like I get haddenfield as nemesis and survivors abuse the double window, so I leave chase and then they use main building waste time and 4 man out.

So maps also affect the outcome of a match

  9. I think people just hate being t-bagged by four people after a stressful game. It feels bad enough getting bagged on by someone in a regular game, having an entire team do it to you after how stressful killer can feel to play sometimes makes it worse. So they try as hard as they can to win to avoid having that happen to them.

  10. I’m just happy to get a decent amount of blood points each match
(Somewhere between 30 and 50 BP)
Not that winning isn’t a good feeling

It also depends on how you vs the opponents play the game too…

Then there’s the fun vs efficiency problem

  11. Idk ever since Ohtofu called me a bad killer just because I was playing oni with a meme stealth build on Haddonfield against his God teir team. I just felt more like winning is everything after that and now every time I lose a match I get pissed off and hate the game…I know I should lose sometimes but now it just feels worse. Honestly idk how to not get angry about it anymore.

  12. Playing soloq has been a great way of alleviating the stress of wanting to winning for me. Just get some good chases, help my team, and do what I can because I ultimately know unless I’m playing with a random 3 man, I’m prob gonna die and that’s okay.

Same with killer. I’d rather walk away with 8 hooks and lose knowing I’m actually improving as killer rather than tunneling for a desperate win.

  13. This is such a Joke! You justtake part in a year long belitteling of legit complaints, that was initiaated by the streamers you say you dislike!
No one wants to win every game! They want , when they loose, that they loose because they lost and not becuase they had the wrong killer with the wrong perks on the wrong Map!
Everything else is just a strawman made up by people like you, Scott Cund, Cockdarva, Oh Tofu etc…

  14. See I find some people just want to win so much because they want to get their grade level to iridescent 1 so they can have their bloodpoints, which is some I'm fine with but like even I lose I'm still gonna try and get to iridescent 1, but just in general some people just wanna have at least an 80% win rate, me personally I don't really care if I win or lose, but when I lose back to back it can feel like crap, but that's something I should figure out on how am I losing my games so much like I didn't do this enough or I didn't do this when I had the chance, see like I find people that want to have a high win rate are wannabe comp nerds and they are not as good as they think they are, and I just dislike that mentality so much, and I was like this too but now I just don't really give a f#*k now, I really don't

  15. This is literally every single killer, needing their 4K game. Then when they have a tough time not getting their 4k, they complain to the devs to nerf survivors and survivors perks to the ground more and more and more.
