  1. I actually love Hellion, I think Schmuckles really misinterpreted the name, in game like Darkest Dungeon there is one of Heroes available called Hellion, she is a barbarian from a nomadic tribe known well for her impulsive and racaus behaviour, the name is a perfect fit and I have no idea why someone would have doubts about it

  2. Are we sure that the killer is real and that it’s confirmed. The reason I ask is because there is a detail about this potential killer that could possibly debunk it. The detail that may debunk this as being real is the dog. The dog itself appears to be a mastiff which alongside pit bulls rotties Dobermans and German shepherds has been given a bad reputation as a vicious attack dog over the years thanks to the media. Behavior had stated that they probably would not add a dog to dbd in a way that may damage the reputation of the dog breed. A while back Jeff Johansson was given a cosmetic that depicted a pit bull in the harmful and stereotypical ferocious attack dog image. They had since removed the cosmetic and changed it to depict a put bull as a loving dog breed. The issue with this supposedly confirmed killer is that it has a mastiff as potentially part of the power and that may show the dog in a negative manner.

  3. My immediate reaction just to the art is that I’m interested in maybe a beastmaster style killer, but I don’t like the inclusion of a pitbull. Pitbulls already get such a bad rap so making it a killer in this game would be both lazy and feed into negative stereotypes imo. It would be better if the entity provided Hellion with like, a hellish nightmare beast of its own creation.

  4. This is definitely not a skull merchant situation. The Hellion I think actually looks cool, and she does look scary albeit not in the usual sense. Part of her horror is commanding a giant dog that’ll chase survivors. She also looks warped, and her face looks almost dog-like. “Ruthless noble” is definitely an archetype not yet done in dbd.
