The reason why people clean their blades off after slashes is because the blood hardens and can make the blade dull and rusty even due to the iron in our blood which causes the iron blades to also oxidize. Which in the long run can and will make the very tool that's supposed to save your life get your killed.

This is the exact reason why I use Save the best for last. Basically, this perks allows me to save the best (cleaning the bloody weapon) for last after winning the game 🤣
