1:00 you really shouldn’t throw around words that you clearly don’t know the meaning of people can have issues with the devs randomly adding sexuality’s to characters and not be homophobic, I’m sure there are a few actual homophobics that don’t like it but just because there are a few doesn’t mean that everyone that dislikes it is so maybe change the wording next time

I got interested in this game once they revealed David was gay. But I’ve known about DBD’s LGBTQ+ fan base for a while now. I‘ve watched drag queens like Trixie Mattel play the game! I can see why David in particular is popular with gay and bi men. He’s a real hunk!
I read the leaked tome story, and I like it a lot. Yes, it’s a little cliché, but it works. It makes me appreciate David a lot more.
I hope we don’t have to wait too long for more LGBTQ+ characters, I’m interested in seeing how Behavior will handle representation going forward. The fact that they said there will be LGBTQ+ killers has me particularly excited. A big win for gay wrongs! Literally slay!

Why are we even talking about this? Nobody cares, it's dbd, you're getting a hatchet through your skull no matter if you're into girls or boys
finally being able to watch this properly. I do hope we get an chapter with both a gay killer and gay survivor, both of them coming from the 70's or 80's. It'd be a good and true to reality lure if the killers back drop was based around internal homophobia not being able to accept he was gay, in life luring other gay men where he'd kill them… Now i know many people will read that and be shook claiming its unrealistic, but the fact is it was extremely common… John Wayne Gacey, Jefferey Darma and then there was another guy I forget his name but it was big, they were gay and killed other gay men, though I THINK Darma was the only one who wasn't closeted or homophobic, he just never wanted them to leave him.
in a similar vein the survivor could be like Zarina, fighting for gay rights in that time period we're the killer is well, killing. they both have an encounter where he finds out this guy is the killer as the entity takes them both… If I was good at art I'd love to design this ngl
I do appreciate how well they did write the story, despite not being gay myself, I just still cling onto the thought I originally had that if they wanted to make a gay survivor, it should probably have been a new one, but I do get the idea of it being all they'd be remembered for. Glad we're getting any LGBTQ+ rep at all in this game now, though

Hey Bush, here's a thought about LGBTQ rep in a future tome with an old killer:
Remember the Legion tome and how Julie saw Frank as a sort of 'soulmate'? What if Frank or Julie were Ace? If it were Julie, maybe she likes Frank cuz he's not just another guy who likes women for their body.
If it were Frank, we could have a story of him being hit on by people through his life and him having to constantly turn people down. Hell, maybe even make Frank Aroace and have something about him having to reject someone who expresses feelings for him. Just an idea I had in the spur of the moment.
as a gay man, i honestly think if they havnt made a whole twitter post saying "hey since we dont have a gay char david is gay now". would have been better if they didnt say anything and just let his stories explain it

I am so happy that David's New Story wasn't just about him being gay, and actually had a very well crafted piece of Lore behind it, I was scared it was going to be a massive dumpster fire to make him gay, but they did it so well and with good reason.
Personally, I'm hoping Zarina is the next to come out, I've always had this Bi vibe from her, and she would work so well if we had confirmation, not only is her personality on point with it but it would slide in so neatly with her current known lore, about her changing her cultural identity and such, plus I'm really hoping for some sweet and juicy Zarina lore in Tome 13. Zarina and Suzie for Tome 13 please!
