DbD's Hardest Achievement JUST GOT WORSE | Dead by Daylight

Ever since Myer’s rework in the most recent patch, The Evil Incarnate achievement has went from difficult, to near impossible. The changes to the tombstone addons make it take much longer to build up, and stalking close range is worse now as well. Meaning it’s harder to cheese with PWYF

  1. @OhTofu… I love you bro… but double IRI is most definitely NOT dead and is still the best way to get the achievement. I have A LOT of hours into playing Myers…. you're just using the wrong build and you're not playing aggressive enough. I use Monitor and Abuse, Ruin, Surveillance and PWYF. That's my build for Double IRI Myers and has been for the last 5 years… lol. Couldn't wait to try it after the patch and I too landed on Lery's of all places and immediately said FML…. but I stuck to my game and got the 4 mori's with 2 gens left… Yes, on Lery's!!!! Figured since it went so well, I'd give it another go and landed on Ironworks… and got another 4 mori's. And those were just my first two attempts. I've gotten the 4 Mori's with double IRI's more than a half dozen times since the patch. My humble advice… don't worry so much about PWYF stacks until you're ready to start killing…. DON"T kill your obsession first!!! Save them for later Mistakes happen and PWYF doesn't generate stacks if your Obsession is dead. No need to kill off one of your Perks. Use Ruin/Surv/MnA to get easy hits and keep them off gens and let Ruin work…. Be aggressive… you HAVE TO chew away at all those pallets BEFORE you pop Tier 3. DO NOT sacrifice downing and hooking for stalk… must keep pressure up and not give away the Tombstone just yet. Use those stacks and small Terror Radius to get free hits and downs. It's very much OK to hook people when trying to get the achievement…. and somewhat necessary. Ruin/Surv tells you where to go. Go to yellow gen.. hit survivor/get pallet…. gen regresses… go to next yellow gen. lol. Obviously want to defend Ruin as much as possible…. but once you're close to Tier 3… it won't matter anymore. Pallets will be gone, they won't have enough gen progress once you pop and start killing. It really is that easy my friend. You're build is doing you a disservice. Ruin is absolutely slept on these days and does an insane amount of work when trying to get the 4 Mori's. But really it's the synergy between Ruin/Surv/MnA for the early game. Then MnA/PWYF is what gets you the kills once you hit T3. You're too fast and your TR is too small for them to react and get to a locker or anywhere safe. Try it!!!!! Edit note: Survivors are far less likely to cheese you from the achievement when they see you've been playing somewhat normally by downing and hooking. Which is why I said it is somewhat necessary to down and hook survivors.

  2. I mean you most of you say it’s hard and survivors are petty, but you also aren’t playing the game normally as killer.

You running around stalking the whole game, not really doing anything until you have an infinite insta-kill mode. Not very fun for a survivor to make one mistake and game over.

It’s just a poorly designed achievement, just like killer adepts.

  3. I do think corrupt might backfire a bit for this, since it encourages survivors to displace from their spawn and make it more likely to see you. With the increase stalk speed from distance it might be better without

  4. you need to put pressure on the survivors, you can't just spend the whole game stalking them and letting them get stuff for free, watch mains like stalki boi, they injure survivors even of they aim to get the 4k tombstone because that forces the survivors out of the objectives, remember that the survivors win by doing gens, if you're not doing anything to stop them from doing so you are just losing the game for yourself

  5. I got this Achievement back in August on my first attempt. I got lucky and after closing hatch and seeing the last survivor at the gate, they let me have it because at that point I won and they didn't feel like being spiteful. Definitely a poorly design achievement, it should be reworked to be like Vecna's Rightful Owner achievement imo or just a "Kill X Survivors with Tier 3 Evil Within." I have the achievement already so I don't care if they rework it to be easier, it doesn't bother me what it is changed too.

This is definitely the hardest achievement in the game because even with perfect game knowledge there are too many factors beyond your control to get it, and it can be intentionally denied by the other side (and it doesn't even need to be everyone on that side). In fact, only the 4 mori achievement and Vecna's Rightful Owner are the only ones you can even argue could also be intentionally denied as all other achievements you can get through normal game play without the other side having an option to intentionally deny it.

And Rightful Owner requires all 4 survivors to ignore Treasure chests completely and it isn't as clear when someone is going to the 4 mori achievement (and there are ways to get that achievement even if the survivors are trying to deny it.)

  6. Run unlimited tier 3 and the new uber strong hex build with devour, undying, thrill of the hunt and the dracula perk that blocks totems. You get more time to stalk them, hooks still add to the same benefit as the stacks will grow with everyone being scared it's tombstone and they jump lockers and you can just ignore tombstone and grab a good other addon to actually improve your stalk.

  7. I can get the locker thing on a first hook. I can get it if doing so nets your team some extra time. But the fact people do this when it's "I'll die either way" is just being a dick

  8. If you are the type of survivor to sit in the locker while you are the last and the hatch has been shut, waiting for the end game timer to run out, JUST to deny the achievement, then im sorry to say, you are one of the biggest PoS there is. Period.

I aint saying peeps should hand it to myers, but theres playing the game, and then theres knowing youve lost and deciding to be petty.

  9. I JUST got it, took about 4 games. Definitely want to hone one survivor first, then continue on and on with it until you get all 4. Used myers memorial and tombstone piece, the perks were PWYF, Ruin, Corrupt, and discordance.

Good luck man you got this!

  10. Interesting question, especially with the new thrill changes. What about running infinite tier 3 myers with stalk speed with "thrill of the hunt", "devour" "undying" and "deadlock?" Play normal by hooking etc and stalking from afar and kill by late midgame with devour once you're in infinite tier 3?

  11. It's always been kind of important on Double Iri to not completely neglect getting downs in the earlygame for slowdown, but now I think it might be absolutely required. It's just so slow to do anything, you need the survivors to have things to do other than gens and avoiding Stalk, especially since long-range stalking is much easier to avoid if they're aware of your position. Honestly these changes don't feel that good to me, idk. Granted I've never been too good at longer-range stalking.

  12. they doubled how much juice survivors have, but also doubled how much juice it takes to tier up with double iri, making it where it's practically double the stalk time *minimum*, with line of sight breakers causing stalking to be far less effective over all.

  13. I knew that the amount of stalk it takes to go from 2-3 on double iri had been nerfed. I had no idea it was literally "The entire match is over by the time you're done" slow. That seems downright unplayable, never mind the achievement.

Also: keep in mind that since getting grabbed is better than getting insta-mori'd, going into a locker against a Tombstone Myers is still the tactically sensible play- survivors do that because it's the best defense at that point- they don't just do that to spite your achievement.

  14. Glad I got this achievement a few months ago, it’s even easier when you are at rock bottom MMR because survivors just stand there wondering what is happening to their friend until it happens to them next. I got it in one attempt after farming like 10 of each item required haha

  15. Making a couple of changes that feel fair both for Myers and survivors would be pretty easy:

1 – Achievement requirement changed to kill 4 survivors in general, instead of 1 game

2 – Finisher mori/mori offering kills should count for the achievement too

3 – Judith's Tombstone no longer has a movement speed penalty, and now allows you to kill both standing and downed survivors. However, you can only kill survivors who are on their death hook

    4 – Tombstone Piece removed

  16. Sure it sucks that this was nerfed for people who wanted to get the achievement, but playing recently I realized that literally every single Myers game I got into was a go next. My friends and I said "oh it's a Myers", we run and do gens for ab it, he picks someone up and executes them, and we all just give up immediately and go get in a locker. It just totally ruins the game when you realize what's going on.
