Dead by Daylight Analysis: Stranger Things Chapter

I deeply apologize guys…but I don’t like the Stranger Things chapter. I barely touch any of the three characters, DBD has removed the chapter and all that comes with it, and if you didn’t already get the chapter, you can’t get the characters anyway, so why even bother going too deep into this? I’m mostly gonna just get this out of the way, so I can get to the chapters I love…like Cursed Legacy…that was a good chapter. Two awesome characters with that one.

  1. Well I'm glad I stopped watching the show. I don't watch Netflix anymore, and I didn't know about that statement the actor for Hopper said during that awards ceremony. I can't believe I actually wasted my time watching that show, and I wish I didn't.

  2. Um, Nancy became a investigative journalist in Season 3…but her design in game is taken from Season 1, where she was just an average high schooler. Also, I’m hesitant to call her a Mary Sue, especially since she mostly takes the lead in the series’ B-Team and tends to only team up with the show’s A-Team around the latter half of each season.

  3. Well, her sexist/creepy boss DID get transformed into a literal meat puppet for The Mind Flayer that was then fused with one of his coworkers, reshaped into a flesh golem with a giant mouth and finally killed…by Nancy. So, there’s that!

  4. If by “caretaker to a bunch of kids in the town” you mean becoming best friends with Dustin, protecting the kids from Billy, Max’s older brother and constantly risking life and limb to defend the ones he cares about from several eldrich monsters from another dimension with nothing but a baseball bat…then sure.

  5. Steve isn’t really a thrill seeker in the show. In fact, a lot of the time he’s the one voice in the group saying “Can’t these monsters just STOP coming back here?” or “Why is this town such a weird shit magnet?”

Another big part of his character is that he’s trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life now that he’s graduated and no longer the popular kid. He’s honestly the best character in the series, in my opinion.

  6. Honestly, I was more surprised by seeing M.L.P. in one of your videos þan anyþing. I haven’t watches Stranger Things myself, and I completely understand how frustrating it is to have people demanding you watch someþing, as if your life is somehow incomplete if you haven’t seen it yet.

Honestly, þe bashing of M.L.P. was also unexpected, but I’m sadly not as surprised as I wish I was. I’m not going to start griping about “Oh, you just need to give it a CHANCE! 😫” for I know such unpleasantness accomplishes noþing, but I had hoped such mockery had grown old by now.

I cannot recommend þe show enough in all honesty, but I understand if ‘tis not your þing, and I will not start asking incessantly. I’ll definitely still talk about it if þe topic comes up during your livestreams, but I’ll not keep asking you about it. 🤐

Also, you were completely right. Discord’s character in þat episode was PHENOMENAL. 🤌

Okay, it’s one thing for the lore to be just bad; but it’s another thing for it to be THIS inaccurate to the show. The Demogorgon leaves TONS of dead bodies in its rampages. In fact, outside of a couple heads and limbs, I’m pretty sure that we never really see it devouring anyone whole. Heck, the whole reason why Nancy tries to expose Hawkins Labs is because her best friend Beth was killed by the Demogorgon. How does she even know that she died, you might ask? Well, that’s simple…BECAUSE HOPPER AND JOYCE FIND HER HALF-DECAYING BODY IN THE DEMOGORGON’S LAIR WHEN THEY FOUND WILL!

Not to mention that there are tons of other creatures similar to the Demogorgon who also call its dimension home like the Demo-Dogs and the Demo-Bats.

  8. This whole crossover, now that the licence had not been renewed feels like the Devs never really cared for the show either.
It was popular and had a monster, so it was a perfect fit for the game, and while it was part of it they did take care of their characters.
As for the Demo's power, now that the Xenomorph is out is feels like an experimental build, a beta version of sorts.

  9. That’s the problem with The Demogorgon; it has zero personality outside of kill kill kill. It wasn’t until Seasons 3 and 4 that we got any actually interesting villains. Although…Vecna has a lot more character than The Mind Flayer.

  10. You're not missing much by skipping ST.
I totally get IP evangelism turning one off of a product.
I still refuse to watch JoJo & One Piece for the same reason.

  11. I completely agree with you about this show, I started it but never got into it and the shows cast put me off pushing through with it.

As for these characters, I don’t have them and I rarely see them in play so they can’t be that good (or that popular) I do like some of these perks, especially the survivor ones.

It’s always interesting when a licence gets lost. I see the trophies and achievements have been removed which is good. I wish the level was still available to play on but oh well.

Looking forward to the next video but I prefer the Korean characters (in both looks and play) looking forward to that and the season of the witch DLC

  12. Fairy Tail feel like company propaganda… with the whole truth and don't betray your co-workers.. you know that whole the company is your lift and family in Japan and then even taken a vacation can be seen as a bad thing….

  13. Steve is the man, he has some of the most development throughout the show. He starts as popular and arrogant but becomes a caring and generous friend to the people around him. He starts off as a douchebag and becomes a fan favorite character over four seasons
