About Dead by Daylight:

  1. The things the angry mob don't realise is that they make our genuine criticisms harder to hear. People write us off as "haters" when in reality we are the ones that love the game the most.

Also no matter how bad BHVR treat this game, you NEVER have the right to harass or attack someone.

  2. As someone who chats with Almo, its really tragic to see such a nice guy targeted all the time and have what he says taken out of context for false narratives. You did a great job talking about the clip and the subject itself. Like you said, as content creators we should be mindful of what we're saying, and we should be careful as to what kind of examples we set for our followers. Great video!

  3. 3:35 that's the problem i guess, they know the problems this game has, they do know what the ppl that get banned talk about, and they knoe those ppl are right, and yet they simply refuse to fix, or even attempting on doing so, and whenever they actually do, is the most lazy shit ever

  4. the only problem i have with that first clip is the way Almo in the clip , idk if this is offensive (because it could just be the way his voice sounds ) but it makes him sound dismissal about the issue rather than acknowledging it, but at the same time it also makes listeners think that hes just done at this point – and then combining the assumed tone of message the audience is making from the tone with the fact that the issue being brought up is about colour blindness.

if there's one thing Iv'e learnt from my language course at college , its that if you dont pay attention to how your words could be interpreted others will twist it into a narrative that they can talk about with confidence – in this case the poor state of dbd is going to influence people to see this in a more negative light.

  5. He said the right thing, but the delivery was dismissive IMO. I can understand that he is probably tired about hearing it, but it is a serious issue that it feels like they are flat out ignoring.

It's not like he was addressing someone screaming "OMG NERF FREDDY'S LUNGE!" for the 10,000th time. This is a serious issue that they not only seem to be ignoring, but actively making worse.

This is not to say that people should attack others, but I could see why people could be annoyed at Almo's statement.

  6. great video gimms as always, i agree with everything you said, shame that pack mentality makes us all who love the game and give constructive feedback less heard and whoever said that punch almo in the face is going a bit to far.

  7. It was clearly not wrong! the thing you do now, exactly like this Tericho Guy, the back paddeling despite the fact, that this Game even got worse since you made your Videos, is way more wrong!
You don't unite a Community that is devided anyways. people like me will NEVER be on par with people like Almo or King, who live in their own reality!
Also i will never be on par with people like Otz and Scott Junt, that from my sight only have a God komplex. How they define a good Game is riddiculous for me, someone who plays this Game for 4ks with 4 hooks is for me nothing more than a Noob! It doesn't matter how many K followers he has!

  8. 3:30 What a Joke! What he should say? "We are working on it"
What he clearly should NOT say?
"This gets boring bla bla"…Last Week i got banned on his stream for asking the following Question…"When you already worked on trapper, why did you not rework his Basekit, more traps for example?" . That was ALL and i got a 1 minute ban. After it I said "Thx for banning me for nothing" and he permabanned me! Sorry dude…but don't protect A-holes…

  9. Almo is an absolute numpty. Doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about and his answer to the colourblindness was very dismissive and sounded like he couldn’t give a **

  10. This not to defend people's abuse or anything, but I do feel like this community often feels abused themselves by the developers. Cheeky little Tea Bag comments that they know are going to piss people off, insta-bans on forums and streams for simple critics, years of feeling like they aren't being listened too, etc, etc, have all led to a community that is upset more often than they are happy.

You are right though. A more relaxed and approachable tone to the criticism might help, but I don't think the pressures the developer team feel are brought on by the fans. I think they have an internal squeeze going on. The higher ups want the schedule to stick and probably don't even have things like fixing bugs high on their list of priorities. Gotta get the People's Currency back to Bangkok.

  11. I don't see how anybody can bother with him anyway, he is ignorant of alot of issues in the game, he says Freddy op but doesn't know why and that pallets are stronger than snares, doesn't give a shit about ds. He just has this condescending tone with his flawed statistics.
I hope they get rid of him or at least stop putting him on dev streams cause he's just bad pr.

  12. This is gonna be a long one, and I am in no way trying to be disrespectful towards you, Gimms.

Forgive me for the way I'm about to quote him, but I need to do it like so.
    1. We heard it a {million} times,
    2. {we know},
    3. continuing to badger (is that what he said? nvr heard that term before) us about it is not gonna change anything.
    4. If it gets done it'll get done, when we have time to do it,
    5. or if {somebody decides} that something should be done,
    6. we know that {a lot of players want it}

Read these lines separately and tell me how you do not feel disappointed. How can you not feel angry.

This exact paragraph that Almo said, confirms what MANY community members have been suspecting that the developers do in reaction to the community feedback. And I dare say you can apply these "reasons" to many of the concerns that do not get addressed.

His tone is not what upsets me, it's the things he said.

    (1) They've heard about the CB community wanting CB options, "millions" of times. For YEARS CB ppl have been BEGGING for CB options.
    (6) They KNOW that A LOT of players want this to be implemented, not just CB ppl, but other ppl that CARE about CB players.

So…. if they've been hearing this for YEARS and a million times, WHY have they not taken time to implement CB options? (4) When WILL they make time?

    (5) Why hasn't that "somebody" decided that its time to do something about it, despite having so much demand for it?

But the one that gets me the most is "continuing to bother us about it.." This line says it all.
This line tells me, that they will not do any changes if they don't benefit the developers, no matter how much ppl ask for it. No matter how many "respectful criticism. respectful requests, respectful feedback" they get, they won't address it if it isn't beneficial to them.
Which is why so many people are angry. The angry people didn't start harrassing the devs, they started giving "respectful feedback". But time and time again they kept getting ignored and getting betrayed and THAT made them angry.

Of course I am in no way defending harassment towards the devs. But I completely understand and see why people are feeling like punching them lol.

It doesn't matter how much respectful critique videos/feedback the community makes/gives, respectful or rude, they aren't going to listen. And if they do, they'll take half a year or more to implement the changes.

I am not angry at the devs as individuals, I am disappointed at the team as a whole. At the company. This clip really let me know how the devs feel about their community. They don't care about us. They care about ratings, player numbers and money. Because if they TRULY cared, they would be more flexible with their priorities, they would stop in their tracks to address our concerns before proceeding with their to do list.

  13. He could've maybe said "We're sorry 8% of the male population can't play our game it's been a massive oversight by BHVR and something we should have thought of adding 4 years ago since most popular games have it. We realize it might seem like we're mostly focused on selling skins instead of addressing basic issues and bugs but we can't seem to work it out…anyway guys, there's a new UI coming which you can all complain about soon instead"?

  14. I understand what you're going for, but I'm not going to be positive for the sake of being positive. I don't find anything to be positive about right now. That's why it's been roughly a year since the last time that I played. Do I EVER go and personally call someone out? No. Am I happy with BHVR though? Not at all. : /

  15. The Devs are getting extreme criticism because they don't listen to the community just the sound of money the game It's bearly fun to play anymore it makes you feel like your robbed its almost its 5th anniversary and the most common stuff hasn't been resolved at all.

  16. I do agree that the developers shouldn't be attacked or spammed over stuff like this. Truthfully I wish they would do what quite a few online games do when the player base starts to get unhappy with how the game is doing and just halt all content patches to add and change things like this,

    – Adding hud customization and a colorblind mode, perhaps even adding subtitles like what the Left 4 Dead games have so deaf players can have as much of an advantage as regular players, e.g. (*Heartbeat, *Heartbeat loud, *Survivor scream, *Bottle breaking, etc…)

    – A general health patch for bug fixes and making maps more optimized, especially for the console versions of the game.

    – Better hit validation and ranks being put with people who are actually their rank.

    – Balance changes, such as windows, breakable walls, pallets, and dead zones being moved, removed, or added.

    – Perk balance changes and reworks to hopefully add more variety to gameplay and keep games from consisting of the same 7 or 9 perks.

An update like this would be fantastic for the game and would probably help to lessen the hate they've been getting recently.

  17. If you ever feel like dbd does something and your about be attacking someone or something about try a method of taking a certain number of deep breaths. just a basic calming action. I speak as a person who had major anger issues as a child
