I feel like if killers need an entirely separate perk to make it so they don't lose their hex for the entire map after its cleansed (Undying) survivors should also have that for their boons instead of just unlimited and all 4 of them can place one WITH stacked effects. I'm a survivor main but even I think thats unfair as hell.

  2. They don't need to improve the AI for practise mode, make it so you just continue to face the Trapper, but you can choose ur own map and bring in perks and a item. For killer you have the option to bring in whatever killer you want so you can practise using their power etc.

  4. I seriously don’t understand why killers complain so much about boons when most people only use the healing one, and you can heal in that area alone. Killers can snuff it out in a second, and it takes time from gens to go and bless it again. We have to deal with NOED, Plaything, Ruin, and many others. Yes, we can cleanse them if we can find them, but I’ve had matches where I’ve never found them, and it takes a while to cleanse it, and killers can make it take longer to do or they can see you cleansing it.

  5. DS and BT should just be base kit, i play both sides and it would just make the game more fair, most people run it anyway and it would free up some perk slots since there are SO many perks in the game now.

  6. The Circle of Healing nerf I think were done as they could just change a value rather than move programmers to make drastic changes atm and they will reassess when they are able to put programmers on the changes etc.

  7. 2:49 Could you stop with the "DbD population going down" and compare to the same time last year and the year before? 40k avg is higher than any earlier Dec-Jan average.
    The last 30 days has a decrease of 9.74% of players while October 2020 obviously killed the game with its negative 16.10%.

  8. I'm very surprised that they said that there's no problems with boons. girl they are strong af. COH and SS especially. Im glad that COH is getting nerfed but boons need to be destroyed just like hexes, only fair, coming from a survivor main btw

  9. The major change to the Twins is going to be making Charlotte an M1 killer and taking Victor out of the occasion. I’m being sarcastic, but BHVR better not look at this. It’ll give them ideas.

    Edit: I think the main issue with facecamping is kills, unfortunately. That’s something that’s in the MMR system. Heck, I wasn’t even trying to get past Ash rank last season because I really enjoyed not hearing the “entity displeased” sound after every match where I couldn’t get enough hooks or kills. (And yes, I know, “git gud, crybaby” and all that jazz. I’m not saying I deserve an easy time, but that sound itself is incredibly demoralizing.) I’m worried about what changes they’re going to make. It’s likely going to make it even harder for mediocre killers like myself to get any sort of sense of progression and will likely drive more killers from the game.

  10. You'd think after six years of making a game, they could've came up with better answers besides "no." "That's too hard." And "it's coming soon, but that's all we can say" garbage, AI is in every story based game. Npc can't be that hard to program. 😂 sounds like they need a new team. 👀

  11. We accept your boon totem nerfs on the condition that only M1 killers are allowed to be played. No artist, Nemo, gunslinger, no killers that can hit through pallets and windows. Otherwise fuck yaself son. Boons are legit and killers not liking them ain’t a reason for nerfs QQ

  12. 75 % healing speed to boon totems…really? wtf bhvr! that "nerf" is even worse than the nerf to self-care lol furthermore i think dead hard needs a little tweak maybe, but the comparison to being exhausted on the ground is definitely much better now. i have also seen the bad hit recognition when playing killer though. i share the frustration of somebody dcing though replacing them with bots really wouldn't do any good. i don't think bots could ever be as good as a human in terms of reaction thus making it more of a disadvantage to the other 3 survivors and just theoretically playing vs a killer bot would also be no fun imo. the hell?! prevent cheating could be so easy if they tweaked their systems. if ppl can even use glitches to use certain outfit combinations the algorithm must be crap. therefore the prevention of cheaters/hackers is also crap. how can it be possible that streamers get ddos'd in dbd thus making their game lag extremely. every antivir company has former hackers in their team else they can't prevent it. you have to have ppl in your team who are able to think the same way. easy as that. another thing i have also mentioned in some support tickets might be the "search bar" as you named it. my idea was something like they have added into diablo 3 for example. something similar to a closet maybe even taking the closets from the game which you can enter to change your presets of perks. that would make changing things, presets or even outfits etc. so much easier in the game.

    besides that it's nothing special they say "no" to most things considering they still didn't implement nea's system smasher outfit from tome v unleashed collection as an example on which more than one year has passed now and they even said they would implement outfits from tomes after one year has passed. so why isn't this outfit in the store yet?

  13. It really feels like this way of direction of devs to players with information and just general updates is like that of overwatch. The community has ideas are being brought up and they just keep referring to answer already said. From this Q&A seems like events, new killers, and skins are the only thing be worked on and yeah they have many other teams working on stuff but only those specific teams are actually putting out work for show. Like put it out there for the community to try not just internally. Road maps are nice but I don't even think they put one out for year 5. Also 3 month intervals for mid chapter patches is way to long.

  15. I’ve been in the process of moving and barely have been able to play, and guess what, I do one Windows update and my fucking controller doesn’t work for ONLY Dead by Daylight. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 So much wasted money.

  16. I REALLY hope they take kills off the sbmm. Make it based on the amount of progress you do for the team. Because there's SO many games, like 90%, I've played where I've done multiple gens and been chased a few times and I die because my teammates don't unhook. Which further tanks my mmr and just spirals me into dying every game because I get new player teammates. It's a vicious cycle. Like what am I supposed to do? Do all 5 gens and never be seen by the killer?

    Look, I know BHVR won't see this, but I just have to say this, even though I quit DBD a while back (mostly because the community was just too fucking much to bear, and realizing I spent WAY too much money on it).
    We get it, a lot of time went into those damn boon totems, and even more into SBMM. Rolling all that back, especially when they've got the tightest schedule, could probably fuck things up and be a slap to the face of the programmers who probably had to do a lot of overtime work JUST so they could finish the code for either of these things on time, and adding anything new mechanically, even as much as a cooldown for the boons and a separate casual/ranked mode, could very well break the game so hard they'd be spending the next half a year fixing bugs instead of adding content (look, considering how even changing the UI way back when resulted in bugs after bugs after bugs, I am honestly not surprised if that were the case), BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHY BE SO BLOODY TONE-DEAF UNDER THE PRETENSE OF ACTUALLY CARING?! AT THIS POINT THE DEVELOPERS OF IDENTITY V SEEM MUCH MORE REASONABLE IN COMPARISON, AND THAT IS DESPITE THE CONSTANT RADIO SILENCE WHENEVER PROMPTED ON QUESTIONS IN REGARDS TO OVERALL GAME BALANCE, BUT HONESTLY, AT THIS POINT THE RADIO SILENCE FEELS MORE PREFERABLE, BETTER THAN BHVR'S CONSTANT "It's all fine, no need for changes" MENTALITY, FFS!
    And it just ticks me off, honestly. Like, I loved the fuck out of the game, it's community notwithstanding, but come the fuck on, why have the higher-ups (I refuse to say "the devs" as a blanket statement because I am more or less certain the actual programmers at BHVR don't deserve even 1/10th of the crap the community gives them) got to be THIS tone-deaf?! Or is the whole thing with not wanting to fix boons and SBMM just realizing that they did fuck up, but not wanting to do anything purely due to the sunk cost?! HELLO?!
