Dead By Daylight posted what is presumably yet another teaser for Chapter 31 on their Instagram stories account today. This one is an email exchange between a student and his roommate’s mother, concerning the bizarre behaviour of his roommate. The new chapter content will be revealed when Steam players get to test new content in the PTB (Public Test Build) on Tuesday February 20th. But this seems to be the first teaser with clues as to what can we expect in Chapter 31 for this new content, which will have a new killer, a new survivor, and a new map!

On a more positive note though, these teasers continue to quickly become my fav teaser season they've done for a chapter. As to what's the picture, I'm going to have to echo what others have been saying. It could possibly be the creature either mid-transformation or, maybe even some kind of cocoon or egg? Idk, either way, really hope we get a video teaser this week! 😀
EDIT: So, giving it more thought and stretching this a bit here, could this possibly be the egg sac we've seen on Coal Tower? Just the artists(Danny's) interpretation?

To me it looks like it’s either a head that’s being formed or it could be the torso of one of the creatures from the forest in the diner story, because they said it’s torso was twisted in a way where it could walk toward you without actually turning its upper body and the lower parts of the drawing looks like the beginning of the upper thighs

So in the audio clips I thought I heard a zipper and the picture may have a zipper on the bottom of the object. Not sure. It's hard to wrap my head around what it could be because describing the object I'd say it's rumples and wrinkles make it look like it's made out of a cloth or leather or perhaps even skin.
But there something about the connection of the story and the picture that doesn't add up. It's the fact that we know these are drawings and they appear to be graphite like pencil drawings but there's blood or something red on it that perhaps wasn't apart of the drawing but actual blood?
Maybe its a drawing of the killers cocoon or something
I think this is the killer midway through morphing into someone like his face is scrunching up into a new one
