Hey guys, so these are two feature games that I am looking forward to! Evil Dead looks fantastic and Carnival Hunt looks creepy and gritty! – Dead by Daylight is still fun for me, but I feel like a nice change of pace is needed too! Let me know your thoughts! Would love to bring you guys with me.

More about Dead By Daylight:

A group of up to four survivors must elude one killer. The survivors’ perspectives are third-person, while the killer’s perspective is first-person. The survivors cannot fight against the killer and can only survive by running away and evading them. They must use obstacles in the form of wooden pallets, windows, and items that they either find inside chests or bring before the match starts to run from the killer for as long as they can. In order to escape, survivors must repair 5 generators scattered across the entire map to power the exit gates, then they must open the exit gates and leave the area themselves or find a hatch to jump into.

  1. Wow both of these games look insane can't wait. Jay have you ever thought of maybe just playing friday the 13th one time on stream and making a video on why it failed lol

  2. I just want to play VHS again. Even the beta felt so good to play, even though I am not that good as teen and even worse as monster, I can't imagine how playing the full game with my friends will feel.

  3. Why is everyone so worried about evil dead the game going to die in 6 months? Oh please Friday the 13th and Predator had it worse so hope those two can make a crossover dlc or something

  4. I don’t see this game get beyond DBD. This will just get some hype for a few months and die down most likely. We have the left 4 dead copy (forgot it’s name) and that one didn’t hold for long even though big streamers like Shroud played it for hours and hours.

You either nail the game‘s gameplay from the start or you are doomed with these 4 party vs demon, killer etc game genres thesedays.
If DBD released in 2022 it would have problems as well. The community just isn’t really interested in that type of games rn imo.

(Don’t mind me if this sounds like garbage arguments btw I’m just sharing my perspective on this as a whole, that said, I’m still waiting for a new gen game like DBD though)

  5. I can not fucking wait for evil dead. I just have to decide if I want it on PC or PS5 or both. I love dark horror games (hooked on Bloodborne ATM) and evil dead seems to itch my scratch. I've been playing dbd for 4 years and never thought I'd say these words, but kinda burned out on DBD. Elden Ring introduced me to Bloodborne a few weeks ago and haven't touched DBD since. DBD needs to stop being so cocky and arrogant (Patrick) and look around at what's going on (even old games like Bloodborne). Great vid man! Cheers

  6. The 1st game looks good! Hope the monsters just keep getting creepier/scarier! I for one always try a game before I make an opinion! I will try it and hope its good! Too many people just say something negative and everyone follows nowadays. Scare to try something new I guess. Good vid jay!

  7. The new games, look good, but overall these new asymmetrical horror games will not really kill DBD. Like some people think, DBD still will be the superior. I am hype for these new games. Players might take this chance to take a break from DBD.

  9. The key looks like your pelvis bone and the 🐰s have to stay on the run all the time from the puppet monsters and Co.
That's how am seeing it and as someone else said they are your life,,i guess your soul goes when it's taken and grinded by the puppet killer.

  10. Like many people have said below, the best part of DBD is the IP’s they have and not the gameplay, that’s what keeps things fresh in a match to match basis, the variety of killers and survivors is something a new game can’t match. I love horror films and thats what drew me to DBD but a game based on one IP can grow old very quickly

  11. When the Demon in Evil Dead possesses someone they can even drain your ammo or force you into the storm which is deadly. Pretty cool to be honest. Looking towards other tactics.

  12. I think the keys will be one person starts with so much time and you have to start up the other bunnies which then leaves them with so much time and finish ur objective if u play dead ur time runs out so someone has to start u back up again while the carnival boss has to waste ur time by spotting u and making u play dead

  13. They do look fun. Can't see them overtaking DBD though. They have enough differences to be different games entirely. Asymmetrical yes, but very different
