The idea is creative but I think DS getting that buff would just result in more survivors using it offensively, especially as a SWF.
A good Survivor will use the DS time effectively. Perks shouldn't be balanced around 2-3 killers on a roster of 30 when Nurse especially doesn't follow any of the conventional rules.
With the anti camp coming in, and it was definitely needed (though I think it could be a bit better), when will killers get mechanics to stop Survivors staying in dead zones with no hooks or taking the game hostage and just hiding to annoy the killer?
Killers get more and more restrictions which doesn't help new player on boarding, whilst Survivors get more and more hand holding.
Anyways that's my take, tldr: DS is fine.
The current meta (MFT Resilience Dead Hard Hope) does very little to prevent tunneling. In fact, the Killer is encouraged to get kills quickly before endgame to avoid adrenaline and hope!
Better idea: Once unhooked, you have a 60 second timer. If the killer picks you up in that time limit, you get a skill check. Upon hitting it, you stun the killer for 4 seconds, and the killer has a 6/8/10 second window where they cannot use their power. If they initiate a chase with the obsession before the timer runs out, the timer will pause, and they will be unable to use their power in the chase. (the game would be able to tell if you're following without looking, and count this, so no cheeky moon walk chases to circumvent it, stop tunneling and go after another survivor)

Here’s my idea. Make super perks. They take up 2 perk slots but are powerful. Bring back old ds. But now it takes up 2 perk slots. Give me some crazy perk ideas that could take up 2 perk slots.

Instead of the disabled powers for killer they could just give us the endurance status effect for 7 seconds after using decisive strike. At least that way a trapper couldn't just set up traps for you to bounce into after use.
Give the survivor endurance after leaving the killers shoulder for 60 sceonds
I still die on hook because the survivors are trapped being chased by my hook
I feel like instead of disabling the power it should grant the Survivor 10s of endurance after the 3s is over so then even when the power is applied it would only put you in the deep wounds state and give them even more distance.
I think if we give Decisive Strike the same buffs as the base kit Borrowed Time for unhooking, survivors will have a better chance to escape killers. The Haste for speed boost and Endurance to take a hit from capable killers.
It may be a coding issue to disable powers from a survivor perk. Plus, devs don't have to spend time on all the what-ifs with zombies and traps.
Why don’t we just remove the hooks and keep the gates open?
I went against a couple huntresses, who don't have a terror radius . No o add one or perks that will make it that way. Is she bugged.
personally, i think anti-tunnel and anti-camp perks should be free. it all shouldn't be basekit, but there are plenty of useless free perks that could be turned into anti-camp/anti-tunneling.
also, trapper traps lose collision after DS. it has always worked like that otherwise Trapper would have negated DS years ago.

Absolutely not. Survivors already try to box in and block the killer from getting hits as is. This idea will just make them invincible without any cost. Killers have to leave the hook or the survivors get 2 free perks that I disagree existing as is. I'm tired of having to tip toe around survivor gameplay just to kill someone. As someone who plays daily, I dont see how this would benefit the game in anyway.. Unless your a pure survivor main that don't care for killer. Also, Otz video is a survivor running in a straight line on midwitch, not even trying to dodge the killers ability. We CANNOT judge gameplay from that non existant situation in DBD. That's not normal gameplay! Survivors don't need anymore hand holding! It's already ridiculous as is. I hate this idea, I think Otz should show actual gameplay besides a bot running in a straight line. Atleast try and be realistic!
I think that would be a great idea, that there powers don't work for 7 seconds.
Personally I would like if decisive strike gave a haste effect for 3 seconds and hindered the killer for 2 seconds after the stun
Knight would still have an advantage, as I drop the gaurds before I pick up, it's almost the perfect decisive strike counter. But I feel killers have been nerfed enough.
