Dead By Daylight posted a developer update on their official forums today, detailing all the changes they’re making from the content we tested in the PTB (public test build) earlier this month to the live version they’ll be releasing on January 30th. I am so sad what they are doing to sadako removing condem playstyle she has nothing like she has a whole mechanic around not ignoring it and using tapes i don't get it. Now they want her to straight up tunnel people and its bad enough she has no chase power like whats the point

Bruh literally everyone but Alan wake got tweaked in some way, & this being his chapter n all. Like they could’ve at least given us the ability to see totems with his boon illumination?? Like they coulda done that….. Really behavior? Just add one more thing it don’t have to be totems maybe it could just be seeing the hooks? Like understandably maybe not people/ killer but pallets even? Or how about lockers?

The onryo change makes no sense. Afraid of tunneling yet you still don't lose stacks so i plan on tunneling on purpose now, too make sure. See how pointless this change is? Makes no difference. The Weaker the killer the more they have to tunnel and camp. Onryo is dogshit now so get ready for lots of tunnels.😊
I’m concerned about what they are doing with sadako based on what many people are saying it sounds like her power has been messed up.
Btw idk if youve seen it. In the comments under the post people asked about saw noise for billys pov. They confirmed its been lowered (hopefully to the value of the old yellow addon) very excited for billy!
Overall W changes. Glad they changed those addons on Billy, many of them felt a little pointless.
I'm happy with the onryo changes, thanks to the devs for no more permanent condem stacks on a hook now. Much needed change, it was making people only do tapes the rest of the matches only, and not gens, so that was not helping the team what so ever.❤❤❤

The "we're keeping an eye on it" section with Dead mans switch and grim embrace was really confusing to me since the combo of Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance and Dead mans switch has been a combo since the perk came out and nothing has been done about that. This combo is currently being used by the killer in just about every match that I play and they're not "watching" this too?

Sadako has been reverted back to what she was that caused her to be buffed to begin with, behaviour really are lost on what to do with her it’s starting to feel more realistic if they gave her all new power she needs a full rework
