What perk are you excited for being changed? How do you feel about the new prestige system?!
I’m really not a fan of the potential gen slowdown nerf.. these gens fly like no other already..
whenever I play killer and I finally find someone a gen or two are already popped by the time I even lay a hand on them.
Whenever I play survivor, I usually always spawn right next to a survivor and a generator.. so we knock that thing out hella fast.. so I don’t think it’s a good idea to hurt these perks unless Bhvr plans on doing something about these scenarios although what they could do is beyond me.
Spawning spread out isn’t much better either because that is pretty optimal for survivors but if they are too spread out that increases the chances of them spawning too close to the killer which sucks for the survivors.
One thing I’d like to see is a more diverse randomized on gen spawns.. they are sometimes too easy too find and that could justify needing gen slowdowns.
I have way too much cakes on my characters to prestige now and the event isn't even on half way. I will wait
Why not just change the worst perks that no one uses we need a reason to use the crap perks
i still don't get why he's recommending to prestige characters now and not to prestige them at all so they get automatic prestiges as told on the forums by the count of perks. They also said prestige 3 characters get some bonuses on release of this updtate, so, even if you're dumb enough to prestige now instead of when you're not going to lose anything, you also don't prestige enough for a the thing that is given to prestige 3 characters, making it double as stupid considering we now all know what this update will bring. So, when you're better off waiting for the update and stacking perks without prestiging, he recommends to burn all of it, get to p2 lvl50, and then upgrade… on the update??? If you have some leftover persk from leveling capped lvl50 p2 you're going to get prestiges without consenting even. So, not only you're not getting p3 reward for the characters, you also re-rolled your characters at least twice, with all the things you bought for them in bloodweb… Is this some kind of prank he decided on twitch channel or what, it seems like a meme with a guy saying to "buy more" when the stock market goes red arrow down and below…
And knowing bhvr, how 2 year old and more characters still don't have any blighted/legacy skins, this p3 reward is not going to be that, or even cosmetic, pitty 250k bloodpoints maybe, or a charm, so, prestiging characters at all right now is just burning away bloodpoints spent on the way to lvl50.
a LOT of these perks don't actually need changing. I feel like they are just doing this for the sake of change. just to say they had a huge update. though I suppose we should take this as a chance to look into behaviors thought process when it comes to the overall. strength of killers and survivors
Corrupt, Ironwill, surge, and Spine Chill are fine in my opinion
Splitting perks into 2 is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard
Not sure D Strike needs a nerf they already nerfed it into the ground with the no healing and any semi competent killer will just not tunnel that survivor
Prestige should give a good reason i don t see anything why i go higher at new system prestige for example prestige 10 it should give me as bonus blood point at less 10% boost all categories with offring using hunting or pudding anything it feel more reasonable let me continue doing prestige what ever 50 i got like 50% categories

Wait.. you still have to unlock the perks through the bloodweb even if you prestige those perks to level 3 on the character they come from? I thought they were automatically unlocked for every other character, as in we wouldn’t have to unlock them on the bloodweb.
A new meta every couple of months wouldn't be a bad thing….
does anyone know if you'll still unlock the bloody cosmetics when you prestige after the rework?
I would 100% still never take off BBQ if it only offered the bonus bloodpoints.

I was thinking, monstrous shrine could be overpowered if they just changed like two things about it. Make it a scourge hook perk, and the monstrous shrine perks apply to all of the scourge hooks. That would be menacing.
In game, when you crouch as pig. The coding/affect of the calm spirits new affect is shown, replacing the ambush meter
i don’t see why gift of pain would need nerfed because literally noone uses it ever in their life. so i’m pretty sure it’s going to get a buff, major.
some of these perks in all seriousness don’t need a change in all honesty.
take thana for example, 20% is actually not a lot if you look at it from a survivors perspective. like prove thyself just completely outweighs thana anyways.
eruption also doesn’t need a nerf, it sort of could use a slight buff. because the 6% really isn’t a major regression in all honesty and the incapacitated doesn’t even last that long.
next we have surge, i get it… the devs see a lot of people use surge so automatically they assume “it needs a change because it is used a hell of a lot” but it genuinely needs nothing done to it. because 8% again, isn’t a huge regression but it borders this line of good regression and also sort of weak if you get me.
and then there is other perks that don’t need changed but i don’t want to make this a huge paragraph but anyways.
to close up, my opinion on the overhaul is that the devs kind of just looked at load outs and just went, this is being used and this is not so we got to “balance”, and tbh i get some of the perks here, yes definitely like dead hard and pain resonance and pop yes… but other perks don’t necessarily need to be here… they don’t make sense in my opinion, but that’s just me.
But does DS really need another nerf? It’s barley usable at this point. As far as corrupt DONT TOUCH MY BABY 😫😫😫😫
If we go with your idea of breaking one perk into two perk slots we are going to have more of a grind issue which is already a issue.
I have a feeling BHVR is going to f this up so bad man… they're going to ruin this game… also annoying they're giving away prestiges now.. so dumb.. what a smack in the face to us who spent hours getting our p3s now their giving them away…. what a joke
