  1. 0:41 the entity feeds off emotions/feelings of survivors and killers.
Sadness, hope, happiness, pain, despair, love, anger, hatred, fear, grief, etc.
So getting a 4% gives survivors hope which it likes similar to when a survivor escapes, it gives them a rush of emotion. A survivor doesn't need to be sacrificed for the entity to feed, all it needs is for you to be in its realm.

When you lose the ability to give emotion and become a husk you are discarded to the void because the entity can't feed off you. It's gonna happen to the killers and survivors eventually.

  2. Isn't the entity's lore it feeds on intense emotions? Fear, hope, pain, etc; if anything, the 4% kobe chance is one way for the entity to give the survivors a little bit of hope before taking it away (90% of the time, that is).

  3. Not once have I ever met somebody who plays a game to lose lol. No one has ever watched a sport and called a player a “try hard”. You know what happens if you play sports and don’t try to win? You get kicked off the fuqin team. Why would video games be any different? Not once has anyone ever called Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant/ Lebron James a “try hard” (for the European lads will use Ronaldo&Messi as examples) with the intention of it being bad or disrespectful. Fact is people that complain about people trying hard at games just suck and are jealous that they aren’t that good. Yet instead of practicing and getting better themselves they try to shame people for being good at something lol. Imagine if people did that in any other context, they would sound absolutely ridiculous.
