Are the bloodied outfits still going to be awarded by prestiging or are they gone?
I'm thrilled. I'm at almost exactly 900 hours and focusing most of my BP on killer, I have every killer teachable unlocked with a few prestige 1 characters and one prestige 3 character… And I am NOWHERE NEAR done with the grind. 900 hours and most of my killers have less than half of the perks in the game XP I am HYPED
if i already have killers prestige 3, when the update drops will their perks be tier 3 on all killers? or is it only for killers you prestige after the update
I have all killers (besides nurse and blight) at prestige 3 all perks. I also have all male survivors and 3 female survivors at prestige 3 all perks. If they just give me a charm then ima laugh so that I don’t cry hahaha
I'm not prestiging until the system changes. I have all sorts of anniversary cakes and event items from over the years on characters that I simply don't want to lose. Not to mention, as it stands prestiging currently only makes the grind harder and there ARE killers and survivors that I've spent millions upon millions of BP on in order to get the perks I wanted for them and even some that I have all maxed out of all perks on. So for such cases I expect to see immediate level 3 prestige when this system hits. Until then? No thanks. Not worth it.
Just be sure you’re ready to lose everything if you’re planning to prestige 3 those old killers. I know some people have old anniversary and map offerings that you can’t get anymore so keep that in mind

Hey Paulie do you know if we can still earn characters prestige outfits after the update. Cause if they aren't keeping it imma want to grind out my favor characters so I can have their bloody cosmetics.
I’m so excited! I was so worried getting everyone max but now I’m just getting them to 50 and waiting for this. Leon will be taking a break from my main after this update! As he is one of 3 of my 3 prestige.
What is everybody choosing to do then? I'm not sure if I should P3 my characters or wait till the changes go live then. Stupid question by the way but will we still get the bloody cosmetics with the changes??

I'm really curious what the "distinct reward" will be. The wording from the initial blog post gave off the vibe that the reward was specifically tied to the character/s you have prestiged which would make me think that it's not a currency. I do feel a little better hearing that they won't be doing something legacy related though, being that I maxed perks on my mains instead of P3ing them.

I have several survivors Prestige 2 LV 50. I need to know if it’s worth it to prestige them to level 3 before the update or after. Someone please help me.

I have 2325 hours on dbd and I only p1 trickster p3 Yui p3 Zarina and p3 my main Yun-Jin Lee.
It better give all my survivor's p3 because I have every perk in the game maxed on Cheryl, Feng, Bill, and Jake. They are all p3 already. I've spent 3 years on this
So then what do y'all think I should do? I'm still a little confused. I have a couple of survivors with all of the perks unlocked, but I never prestiged because it didn't seem worth it to me. To get that P3 reward, now I have to prestige 3 times on these same characters and lose all my progress of unlocking all the perks for them if I want that p3 reward? Is that right?
The one problem is what happens when you want to keep a perk at level 1 on certain characters…the only situation i can think of is monitor and abuse for deathslinger. The only difference on between tiers is the fov change in chase and that screws up his aim when you get into and out of chases

Glad they changed their mind, but they're such a snooty and dismissive company to consumer concerns that, in accordance with the rules of capitalism (e.g. other companies who modify the game based on consumer feedback), I have stopped playing this game. Too little, too late.
I switched over from Xbox to pc about 2 years ago there I had prestiged some of my favorite killers and survivor to p3 but since I switched I haven’t prestiged any of my characters opting instead to just unlock all perks on 1 survivor and on any killers I enjoyed playing 1 because it would take far to long to get my favorite characters all p3 and have any of the perks I would like to use on them so I wouldn’t have any fun playing and 2 I would lose all my cakes and item/add-ons mostly the event ones but now I’m gunna be left out of the reward simply because I didn’t have 18 hours a day to spend grinding and not having fun in the game what should I do
I’m not interested in this change. I’m glad that Paulie is super excited for it because he’ll benefit a LOT but I’m also a veteran who has been playing for six years now as well and it’s not gonna benefit me anywhere near as much. Reason being? I still don’t have every single survivor at P3 to this day.
I’ve P3’d maybe a total of like 7 or 8 characters, 3 of them survivor and the rest different killers. One of them is Steve so it won’t count toward the survivor as his perks are no longer teachable and they count toward the common pool rather than the teachable pool. Meaning I’ll only get the T3 versions of these perks on the new characters for those like 8 out of 59 something characters that Mathieu mentioned on Stream. I’m simply not interested in getting all my characters to P3 and people that still aren’t interested in prestiging won’t benefit from this change either.
I’ve always suggested the reward for hitting P3 should be reduced cost BP nodes. That way you can maintain your P3 characters for a cheaper cost.
Or a permanent 25/50/75/100% BP bonus when using a character that is P3.
I don’t know it just seems like all they’re doing is shifting where the grind is. Instead of grinding for actual perk tiers on a character, you’re instead grinding to get every character to P3 and that’s still not fun. It might be shorter, but it’s still gonna be grindy as all goddamn hell for new players and even old players too. Basically anybody who hasn’t sunk the ridiculous amount of time it takes to P3 every single character.
Having all survivors P3 is insane. Having every survivor P3 with EVERY perk is fucking insane. God damn Netflix for removing the Paulie Esther Easter egg, we need a 2nd version lol
this new system is good but I don't know. I personally liked going up to level 15 and just using what you have. with this new system I won't be able to do that anymore, or at least I cant prestige to do so
I dont quite understand tho. I have few survivors p3 wit all perks and trickster p3 with all perks. When this system is out i wiil lose most of my perks on these characters cause i havent prestiged other characters?
I started going after P3 survivors after they announced this and didn't know about the roll back thing. I took my Jane with full tier 3 every perk and reset her already lol big F
Gonna try to grind p3 on every killer I can now for those perks, this is so cool!! I really hope the p3 reward is some kind of cosmetic, legacy ghostface would be pretty sick..
