The 3rd layer is scarier to me compared to the actual chase music in my opinion
Don't rlly get why the tempo seems to lower after layer 3, so much buildup only to kinda drop into an odd, limping feeling of a chase theme. Feels exactly like ghostface where the approach music slapped but the actual theme leaves potential
Love the bells
d nju kiler skerd mi veri maΔ, super spuki (AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
nothing compared to wesker
my favor chase theme is blights, followed by a tie between doc and nemmy. the three of them all feel very intense, they dont just feel like a chase theme but almost like a survival theme in a helpless situation desperately trying to avoid some otherworldly terror. this one reminds me more of a zelda boss. its good, but doesnt quite feel like a "help me i dont wanna die" theme.
still better than ptb ghostfaces chase tho lmao
0:00 – Terror Radius (far)
1:00 – Son?
2:00 – Have you been reading heresy recently?
3:00 – Unacceptable.
Huge step down from weskers
I need a horn sound whenever a chase starts as an announcement that the hunt has begun
I feel like just amping up the volume of the percussion by like 15% would improve the chase ten fold. Love the way the buildup gives the impression of a galloping horse, you are being hunted.
All the layers in the terror radius sounds great. But the chase music lacks the same threatening presence then the other layers in the music.
Edit: I am not against Micheal E. April's work, or what emotional or thematic idea he is trying to convey. I just a fan of both music and horror.
I feel as if the chase music needs more drums. Outside of that itβs pretty good
This sounds terrifying and very fitting for the killer
I'm in LOVE with the 8 Meters/Third Layer
it feels way to subtle and techno for a medieval warrior. they should have gone with something more bombastic and oppressive, maybe bring in some sort of choir to really sell the medieval vibe
Itβd be kinda cool if they added choir for this one. I want Dark Souls boss music behaviour!
I think the chase needs to be a bit more "adrenalinic" and "aggressive", it sounds engaging and determinating but not very aggressive, its literally a knight running to sacrifice you for his kingdom and loyalty
It's good but it could be even better. The background noise of the horse galloping as a drum base when he's near is pretty cool. But they kinda dropped that in the chase. It doesn't sound at the same pace and the sound is rather quiet in the PTB cause his armor is so loud. It sounds rather on theme but if they added more medieval vibes like trumpets in a background layer, it'd make it feel more on theme and pretty cooler
Can't wait to main him when he comes out
I feel like the deep brass sounds that are in his lobby music would help to make this sound way intenser
I love the radius music and the full chase isn't bad by any means but it definitely needs to sound more overbearing given the build up the radius provides
Nice chase theme!
I wish they would keep the chase music consistent, especially between Layer 3 and Layer 4. The transition is jarring and unsettling. It was all great up until layer 4 which is not only all over the place, but just sounds awful overall. Just listen to the Doctor, Pyramid Head and Onryo. The transitions between each layer still match BPM even if they sound faster and more intense. Even Wesker's music has a transition that is smooth, not jarring, and the music quality is amazing. I really hope they fix layer 4 because it isn't that great.
Music needs more chaos
Couldn't have added a medieval instrument? No mandolin, trumpet, or blaring war horn
Needs more power, something that makes you feel like a souls boss is chasing you, he already looks the part
Pretty generic tbh
