That DBD boardgame is just sad. The miniatures are so cool looking and they got someone to paint them extremely well but it gets so overshadowed by that horrible fucking board design. 16 killers also means that we will not get any licensed killers, that was to be expected but still kind of a bummer.
I'm a huge DBD fan, been playing since 2018, but that board looks ugly, and no solo mode means I wouldnt be interested.

Oh man I really hope Batman has a reasonable jumping on point. I'm hoping to go a la carte and pick up a core box with just a couple of expansions. I'm being a lot more strict with my backing now so only Tidal Blades is getting my money so far.

I'm on the fence still on Hel the last Saga, won't decide until after seeing some fresh gameplay. Also on the fence over Three Tale, and am mulling over backing Unsettled's new planets, we should play again and then decide. Kingdoms Forlorn looks very interesting and ambitious, though too much combat although I love that kind of card exploration (really love 7th Continent type exploration). From this video I will evaluate Tidal Blades 2, hoping it doesn't feel like a GH variant (prefer a larger ratio of exploration and story to combat, though I enjoy co-op games a lot). Not keen on the Lucky Duck one because of app requirement. Maybe Tamashii, though probably not because I prefer games with narration/story, though I love the look of those minis. I just ordered the new optional Etherfields Kittenburgh dream promo (love kitties) and am happy about the rulebook, cards, and game tracking sheets upgrade shipping with the 2nd wave – their miniatures are what got me into mini painting, great experience for me. I'm curious if you think the Witcher IP might ever create a true narrative campaign game with a big multipart story arc? So far I haven't backed an IP game, though I do have Firefly the Adventure game which I really like a lot – but that was retail and not KS.
I know it doesn't fall under the games category of kickstarter. But given that it is on kickstarter and part of the fantasy genre. Was kinda surprised Brandon Sanderson was not committed on. (Or I missed it)

Kingdoms Forlorn looks great, but I’m likely going to drop my all-in pledge. I already have KDM, and I don’t play that enough as it is. If anything, I’ll take another look at the game, if it’s successful, and if they come back to KS for more kingdom expansions. I can wait for the game. And I can wait for reviews of the final version.
On tge other hand, I’m all-in for League of Dungeoneers. I keep forcing myself to play D100 Dungeon, and it’s not quite there for me. This Warhammer Quest-style game seems like it’s more of what I’m looking for.
Ain't no way Dead by Daylight delivers on Halloween, L99 is doing a disservice to backers and themselves by even pretending that's the case. The only way this would be possible is if they've already sent files to the manufacturer and have, or are currently, reviewing and approving PPC, and if that's the case, why run a Kickstarter? It has IP and minis and Americans are suckers for that particular combination of marketing ploys, so I'm sure it will do just fine, but there's zero chance those trash maps and generic components will see much needed improvements. Verdict: shameless cash grab.
Looking at the Kickstarter page for the first Lobotomy game it seems there was an issue around some pledges not shipping. Is there any weight behind this at all? Hesitant to back lobotomy 2 with some of the stuff I’ve read on their Kickstarter for the first game
I've got all the Batman Gotham City Chronicles s1 and s2. Love the minis. They are so much fun to paint! I'm hoping the solo/co-op and rules overhaul just adds that much more to this game. Not sure about the role play game, but might back it to look at the art. Keep up the great videos!

What's gameplay like for Kingdoms. Minis look good but I haven't seen any ganeplay and I stay away from the campaing pages cause they are too much.
As much as I love the Okko IP and feel tempted by Okko Chronicles and future Okko games…I kinda don’t trust The Red Joker anymore after all the Okko: Oni Hunters production drama and lies and most of all the lack of transparency and communication. I’m still wating for that one and I’m concerned by the product quality, given they changed the manufacturing factory for the THIRD time some unespecified time after July without telling us backers (and looks like wishing no one noticed) and went full production little after. So I fear the game didn’t went through the usual proofing steps, but and accelerated aproval to avoid further delays (14 months now).
Custom d4s that's cool. The typical d4 design (pyramid) sucks because it often doesn't roll instead just landing on one of the large flat surfaces.

I think you are mistaking animals here, it is clearly a full grown Cobra chicken dragon, geese are the unevolved versions of Cobra chickens, right before they come north. Cobra chickens are the guest of honor at Honey Badger tea parties.
Man good choices on lobotomy 2, no need to take everything that is my first rules… Just core game is usually fine (or with one expansion).
