On their 6th Anniversary livestream, Dead By Daylight laid out their plans for the future on how to reduce the grind of progressing in game with an overhaul of the prestige system as well! Let’s read through the blog post of the official website on how this is going to work. I’m excited!

Well today Dead By Daylight tweeted images of what the new prestige bloodweb screens will look like, that are currently under construction and promising more details about the upcoming changes later this week. This means we can probably expect to see the changes tested in the next PTB (public test build) and most likely implemented in the next mid chapter patch in a few weeks.

Are you excited to see what your distinct reward will be for having prestige III before this new system is implemented? I think we can all agree it will be great to no longer lose anything by prestiging! How do you feel about being able to see other people’s prestige levels in the end game scoring screen? Let me know!

I feel its not gonna make a difference I have friends that have played since the beginning that are absolutely terrible at the game so yes for the most part yes someone who has played that long can be good but experience doesn't always lead to talent sorry tink deffinatly using you for this example

  7. I have so many characters that I'll finally prestige thanks to this change. But agree 100% that the scoreboard inclusion is a bad idea, people will see those numbers and start to complain. Adding those numbers in the post game will just add even more fuel to the fire for toxic post game chats.

    Better to just have that area blank like it is currently.

An idea I had that might improve matchmaking since we already have the data to keep track of hooks sacrifices and gen completion and the like why not have it be so that you have an average percentage that either goes up or down depending on different factors for surviors heals gens unhooks stuff like that and for killers hits downs hooks sacrifices stuff like that and then pair you up with surviors and a killer in your average I know that it's easier said then done with all the work and coding also I'm not a professional but that was my idea also I kind of feel the scorecard stuff is a lose lose because as long as you can look at their profile and see their hours someone's gonna complain regardless

I go back and forth with showing how much time you invested or if it shows your player skill level if people see it that way. on one hand I don't care about numbers so it doesn't bother me if they are there or not. but on the other I think it should be removed because it does sometimes cause for a judging type of algorithm of why and I playing with someone higher or lower than me. cause on fortnite I may be level 19 on the rift pass but I play well enough to win matches, it just cause I can't play as much so I don't have a high level of a grind. if that makes sense. Idk i personally don't like showing bragging rights such as numbers or skill level cause it leads to judgement and bullying in my eyes

  21. Sitting on Mikeala lvl 50 and Nemesis lvl 50 cause I bought their dlc and then played them and got a decent load out on Mikeala. I still need good killer perks other than the ones I'm using which are Lethal pursuer, Hex Devour, Eruption and that demo perk that causes blindness on gens.

  25. My question is if you don’t prestige a character do you still get the teachable perk? Like rn if my Dwight is 50 and have his teachables can I still earn the teachables on other characters?

  28. I like the idea of not losing yours items especially the ones that are no longer available when you Prestige. Honestly, that is the only perk I see as people would normally Prestige characters to level 3 to get their respective cosmetics, if and only if, it would be worth losing the items in their current inventory. Then they would continue leveling the particular characters to replenish the items they have been using in each match. I would like to know what these so called rewards will be and if its not a cosmetic then I might not put in the effort to Prestige farther than I already have. And, as always #JUSTICEFORMAURICE!!!
