I feel the need to predict that 4-8 man swfs are gonna get salty and complain that the 2 killers are on comms so it isn't fair… after all these years of the survivors being on comms vs the lone killer.
Heres my personal take on the dnd chapter, hes definitely not the most powerful killer, but when playing on ptb, hes one of the most fun killers ive ever played. When used correctly his power is extremely fun, but the slowing after usage could be tweaked.
The other thing is the dnd chapter opens up an entirely new genre of content. Now if they handle venca well, which i think they have, they could get chracters from personally my favorite table top, warhammer. Which 100 percent fits dbd, warhammer is pure horror, just look up how gruesome the lore is, or the characters knkwn for their magic, blood shed, and rotting disease.
We won’t know how strong he is till it’s live. The man can fly over god pallets or deny them. He might be devastating with some perk combos we don’t know people always jump the gun on PTB stuff.
I thought Behavior wanted to bring some HORROR back to DBD. I am disappointed by new PTB. Killer is weird af too. Mind you, I am a killer main. When I play killer, I imagine myself as a ruthless killer on the march to find and slaughter every survivor that comes across. Even a sight of a killer must send chills down survivors spine. Me being levitating glowing purple man doesn't really help with that. What can I say? I love things that look serious and dangerous. Although his 4 abilities are not all that bad, his looks are just … wrong. There are TONS AND TONS of horror icons out there who can be integrated here in DBD and they chose this colorful freakshow. When they were after bringing some horror back to the game too. Let's not forget that. Naah Pure disappointment.
One thing not to forget is 2v8 means 10 player servers and what not which even at 5 players is already super buggy and laggy. Just imagine lagging around with 10 people. I dunno I’m excited but weary of it actually working proper.
Im really excited for the 2v8, although I really need them to add the licensed killers to it… Also side note, I’ve been toying with (Surge/Lethal Pursuer/Nowhere to Hide/Nurse’s Calling) on a lot of different killers. My favorites for it right now are Pyramid Head, Trapper (i switch lethal for im all ears with him), And Meyers. I’m still playing around with it, but so far it slaps pretty consistently for me.
You’re gonna be severely disappointed in the killer, very slow delay on powers and his perks are rubbish but I love the DND enspired dice roll and mimic chest system

I'm honestly most excited about cross-progression because I made a ton of progress on PS5 then had to start all over on PC.
