Dead Hard is Officially a SH*T Perk (Dead by Daylight)

For a long time, Dead Hard has been the most used survivor perk in DBD. Now, after all of these tough years, this perk is officially getting the biggest nerf ever and becoming a “trash perk”.

The next PTB is gonna look insane and I’m seriously worried about the upcoming mid-chapter patch. While yes, we’re getting some good changes (like Bloodweb improvements & Visual terror radius). Many perks are about to receive very controversial changes – Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Boon: Circle of Healing, Call of Brine & Dead Hard. I’m genuinely worried about these changes.

In my opinion, for the past 6 months, the best anti-tunneling build in the game was: Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Off The Record, and Adrenaline. It
probably has to be my favorite survivor build of all time, and Dead Hard plays a big role in this build.

  1. It's not final, we gonna get mid chapter PTB where i'm sure 90% of things won't happened….. So they would only nerf Billy. When dead hard gets changes you can use Lithe, Sprint Burst, Smash Hit, Balances Landing, Head On, Adrealine, Background Player and OverCUM so your choices are not too limited

  3. Remember when people said it was dead last time and dead hard got better ? Yeaa ill wait and honestly that perk deserves to get nerfed because killers get nerfed all the time and hard , a dead perk is pain reno thats a true dead perk

  4. Literally you hardly ever get dead hard to work and protect you from damage more than one time in a trial. It's not like every time you hit the E button it's gone. It has to actually take the hit or else you have it as soon as your exhaustion is over just like it was.

  5. I do like this change too as it will shake up the room of the meta in this game. Killers and survivors alike if behavior keeps changing and fine tuning perks then there’s no to pander cause there’s dozens of other exhaustion perks.

  6. I think its a good idea. It may encourage players to actually work together instead of just leaving me on the hook and running around doing their own thing like they always do. I'm sure they will have other perks they can abuse in dead hards place.

  7. The only thing I don’t like about these updates is making healing take 8 seconds longer by default and making scourge hook only have 4 tokens. Other than that I like most if it. Soooo happy dead hard is getting the nerf it deserves.
