  1. I think DBD's balance is in an odd state where some killers are D tier and some are S tier so there's technically a wide range of strength where BHVR can release a killer and consider it the 'correct' level of strength. This buff might not have been necessary but if you compare Xeno's strength to something like Blight, is it as strong as that? No. So the buff was unnecessary and frankly Xeno was already strong and balanced, but it's still not as strong as some other killers. So BHVR can just kind of do whatever they want with balance.

Which isn't the best… Like, it would be good if they actually tried to bring killers within a certain level of power more consistently.

  2. You just play em like huntress you can just set up turrets at pallets or holes and make him lose his power and you can stack turrets and if there at holes you can’t hit them while they are down for some reason so you either have to leave go to another place where there might be turrets or stay hope they come back I think they should change him so the turrets can’t be placed by holes and then he loses his power when stunned like plague this would make him more balanced imo

  3. I feel like it needed a little bit of a move speed buff but the amount they gave it was far too much. Both games I got to play earlier when I threw tail and got a miss it didn't feel like I was punished at all for missing.

  4. The speed is to help you keep chase after destroying a turret with a tail. You talk about how other killers get a bigger slowdown, but what you don't get is that those killers don't have a way to shut their power down. Xeno does. The cool down is just a bigger incentive to get him out of his power.

  5. nah its fine like this. its already got a pretty small hitbox and is harder to hit with a controller so if they make it punishing it makes people less likely to try. how about they make huntress hatchets hitboxes not be busses or actually punish blight or nurse for missing their powers first?

  6. I think the main problem is when he goes into his crawler mode he has the option to also m1… that alone removes a lot of counterplay since if you try to dodge or juke him he will walk up and m1 and the turrets barely do shit since he can prep his tail attack while he enters the radius and get rid of it before it even slows him or barely slows him. 1 good way to balance him is remove the m1 on his crawler mode or make 1 turret be able to stop him if he just runs at it and m1 and make stacking turrets not as effective so that gives people power to just have 1 in certain areas but also can be fair since all you need to do is just tail attack it and you still didn't lose much ground to catch up to any survivors.

  7. LOL. If they are giving the Xenomorph the “unrelenting” buff, they should also be giving it to the Nemesis, Demo, Pyramid Head, which I think are weaker, if not on the same level, than the Xenomorph. DBD devs are so out of their mind.

  8. I definitely feel like they buffed Xeno's tail on release to sell the DLC more.

With that said, I saw survivors on my first day playing already using the turrets to a point where I was forced often to chase outside of my power which sucked hard in its own way. They also act as a 2nd terror radius making stealth builds less viable.

  9. Honestly, I want the xenomorph to stay strong. I am so bored of going against Nurse and Blight with the occasional Wesker (though still fun) and chess merchant. Please don't nerf the xenomorph. Or at the very least, if we are nerfing the tail because it is too strong as anti-loop, can we buff the tunnels and fix the jankiness on the turrets?

  10. crawler mode needs to be adjusted because it's literally just better huntress rn, the turrets are just not strong enough in their current state to justify crawler mode being normal killer speed. (plus on top of that, an addon still exists to make the turrets LESS effective). there is no reason to ever want to be in non crawler mode ever because it is just better xenomorph in every way possible to the point where turrets should be stronger, the addon should be removed entirely, or crawler should be nerfed to add more strategy to xenomorph rather than be "i MUST be in crawler mode 24/7 because crawler mode is just stronger"
which, it is. it's honestly bordering too strong. i guess your point is also fine, this buff should be reverted or put to like 1.5 or something, but i think this buff is a smoking gun and is missing the point of why xenomorph is so good right now. there's a reason why killers like huntress are 110, because if she was 115 she'd be really fucking strong. now we have huntress that is 115 that can ALSO go through tunnels that can only be stopped by mediocre strength turrets??? idk what bhvr was thinking with this one.

  11. I have ptsd because of how many times I've been tunneled at ,5 gens by this killer that I can't even finish watching this vid. His weird hit box and the fact that he just body blocks you is hard to get used to and xeno players take advantage of that fully. Sad times

  12. Honestly survivors just gotta get better at placing turrets lol I went up against a good team and wow they way they would run back to these greatly placed turrets and loops it was wild lol

  13. I don't know maybe because I'm not good at him yet or maybe I'm playing to late at night I'm super sleepy but it seems to me survivors aren't having that hard of the time countering the tail attack and killer. A lot of them have been using the turrets correctly and knocking me out of my power super fast. They also been dodging my attack really well also. I feel if you nerf xeno too much you just end up with another singularity where you have a really cool killer who is hard to play and no one will ever play them.

  14. ive played 90% survivor for once against this killer and it is punishing. miss the tail, literally still almost in range to hit with the M1. there is no where to go.

  15. I know it's not going to be a popular opinion but I feel like Xeno's ability to tail attack a turret while getting flamed is a bit too much. It down right removes the point of the turret because it's impossible to knock her out of power so long as she can do it. Something there needs to change

  16. All survivors should die from a heart attack after first seeing the Xenomorph. The tail should be used to cook survivors over the fire pits and then given to Bubba to eat.

  17. I don't mind how it is currently, I find it fun to play against as a survivor. I wouldn't mind the tail having a cooldown, but it's okay with me for now 😀

  18. Another YouTuber winging about killer being strong

Survivors are way to op, they have 3 chances on hook tuns of loop’s pallets they get so much to work with.

Even now Alien still gets beaten by good survivors with the tail missing buff. Just stop going on about buffs nerfs and enjoy the fucking game. Think of casual players that don’t want to sweat every fucking game and just want a enjoyment when being killer rather than all these nerfs which just make being killer ridiculous and making these entitled fuckers get away with ruining the game

Killer has to be op it’s 4v1 get over it who the fuck wants to be a weak killer that can get looped whilst gens are popping left right and centre and then getting t bagged at exit.

  19. This is not a death slinger situation because one survivors can bring or place turrets to stop it at loops not to mention the time it takes to get your power back without tunnels and his tail is not as nearly as long or reaches far as slinger so tbh the new recovery is a welcome change and Xeno is probably one of the best killers to come out in a while for this game tho what they need to fix is the turrets hit boxes and stuff tho as sides from that everting feels fine and good to play

  20. can't you just setup flamethrowers in mid power loops and utilize strong loops where tail swipe cannot be abused? Tail attack seems pretty weak on loops where you can't shoot it over and thus you don't really need em for those.
