Your first game you're using add-ons for getting tiers by using tentacle strikes against humans. Try mixing it up by putting on the add-ons that get you more tiers from tentacle-striking zombies. As an added bonus you can also put on the add-on that makes you undetectable whenever a zombie dies.
Great vid as always Chris!!
Great experiment
No one understands the power of Nemesis until they play Nemesis. I started playing him a few weeks ago and he is a beast. [Also maybe the best builds episode for nemesis soon?]
Yay, finally video about big boi nemmy. I have STBFL on my main build and I was thinking to replace it with gen slowdown perk. Thanks for the vid and completely convincing me to do so
You’re such a consistent YouTuber with really high quality videos. Props to you
always great videos
i don't know man I disagree, I've been running it on Nemi for ages now and it really comes in clutch against body blockers or people who corner you to mess up the whip. I run STBFL, Nowhere to hide, Call Of Brine, and mix it up between Dying Light and Pain Res for my build, works pretty good in my experience!
that said, I will now watch the video, cheers my guy
I'm actually going to have to disagree here with you here.
Both games were pretty comparable but the 2nd game you not only got handed free tentacle hits from discordance in the 2nd game but you also got handed free hook states as you grabbed and punished them as they were unhooking which allowed you to steamroll pretty quickly from there. You also got way more Zombie value the 2nd game. I don't say this as something against you I know it's impossible to perfectly replicate but these were some things I noticed.
Also, I know some might find this insane but I also find Nemesis to be one of the worst killers in the game. I know, I know! "He shreds pallets, bro!" But so does Demogorgon, Hillbilly, and Bubba. Wesker and Legion both CAN as well depending on add ons but ignore them regardless. Twins also ignore pallets. Now to compare them Demogorgan can do it from further away arguably less predictably than Nemesis who has to raise his hand and tentacle. Hillbilly instadowns and has massive movement speed as well as an add on that allows him to go both through the pallet and injure the survivor. Bubba has the ability to instadown as well and also gets a speed boost when using his chainsaw. And has multiple charges allowing him to mind game pallets. Wesker has more that goes into his power and can do all the same things. Legion can hop over them and destroy them and easily cause deep would and finish them off making the pallet drop pointless. Twins can just hop over with Victor and either latch on or down and can pressure multiple survivors are the same time. I know you know this but my point is these killers all do what Nemesis does but more and better. Additionally unlike them Nemesis often doesn't deal health states meaning even with all the extra health states and 2nd chances survivors already have Nemesis gives them another one! Additionally Nemesis really orchestrates his tentacle attacks. And can be reacted to as well as be robbed from you as they were in the 2nd game. Also ducking seems to make it near impossible to land the hit? Despite not taking a health state it still gives them that speed boost and a bit of a side note is that that means certain perks that require a health state to be taken aren't effected by those infections. So that makes those perks even worse! So what does Nemesis here even really offer? Ranged attacks? We have killers that do that but better like Trickster, Twins, and Huntress. Pallet shred? Perks and killers do that but better. "Slowdown"? The time it takes to take the vaccine is so minimal but regardless other perks and killers offer that but better. Zombies that provide more pressure in multiple places? They're borderline worthless and Twins Trapper, Freddy, Hag, Artist and basically any high mobility killer allow them to pressure more of the map quickly plus gen blocking perks can do that. Pallet shredding? Like I've said Demogorgan, Hillbilly, Bubba, Wesker, Oni (whom i forgot to mention earlier) and Legion all destroy pallets very well while even killers like Clown, Pyramid Head, Pinhead, Trapper, Hag, Freddy, Twins, Trickster, Huntress, Nurse, Blight, Atrist, Dredge, Knight, Doctor, Plague, even Myers in a way denies pallets. His add ons aren't great either. Ironically enough my favorite thing about him is that he can preserve those STBFL stacks so well but I often find it's best to not use the tentacle unless it's garuanteed and find that Corrupt Intervention helps me actually get a power in the first place which even Trapper doesn't have that problem!
We getting this as a Series now?
"Dont use this perk on [Fill In]" series?
I would disagree. Once you understand that his power can easily be negated by ducking, he turns into an M1 killer really fast. Plus those stacks help if people start body blocking and can make trading hooks very easy.
I totally agree you don’t need save the only reason I run is just cause theirs times it’s almost impossible to use your tentacle but I also use it for a quick recovery and tentacle hit for a down
I wanna see a video of you getting completely wiped by the survivors for once lol.
Best for last is also INSANE on Pinhead btw
If the Tentacle strike had a slightly shorter cooldown maybe stbfl would not be worth it
Honestly I think even with stbfl the number one priority is always tier 2. Without it you can't really take advantage of the stacks. Otherwise its honestly mostly a pet perk and is just super fun to run. Does come clutch in some scenarios but should probably just be no way out or some slowdown perk in most builds
I agree y anyone would play nemesis when they don't want to use power, they can play blight if they want to break pallets quickly with iri add on
Sheesh nerf Hex:altruism soo op lol
I swear every time i play against nemesis the zombies are brutal. And when i play nemesis my zombies don't do anything and often get stuck somewhere
oh wow is that real aaron?
