  1. Honestly pinhead has become my new main in DBD, personally I’m glad We got a Hellraiser chapter besides all the NFT drama, he is a great addition to the game. I have gotten even some messages from angry players saying that I’m using the “NFT killer and that I support NFTs by playing pinhead…” anyway, it would be great if we could get Doug Bradley to voice pinhead in DBD but I have lost all hope after all of that.

  2. I love Hellraiser and Doug Bradley. But no matter what happens and even if we don’t get the voice lines back I still hope Pinhead stays forever as he’s become my favorite killer now.

  3. Well damn that sucks that we didn't get the voice lines but it makes since, and I wish we could see Doug Bradley voice Pinhead in DBD and even Ghostface somebody could voice him to, I would say Robert Englund for Freddy Krueger but I doubt that would happen because I know Robert Englund hates the new Freddy Krueger

  4. Even if Doug doesn't want to do it, I respect his reasons. It also seems to be the same reason why Roger L Jackson didn't voice Ghostface in DBD either, which was cause of license issues

  5. I understand his criticisms, but as a huge fan of Hellraiser (the first one at least), I think it’s lovely that DBD was able to take those things unique to Hellraiser and adapt them into the game while staying true to the movie. The fact they captured that Christopher Young soundtrack perfectly while producing their own music is amazing, and the paraphrased voicelines didn’t really bother me. Getting Bradley’s voice for them would be amazing though. I’d kill to see them back, and The Female and Butterball as legendary skins.

  6. This doesn't really surprise me in a way because there seems to have been loads of issues with DBD surrounding usage of voices and likenesses of past licensed characters. Whether it's for money or whatever the reason is, Bhvr seems really keen on having people in-house voice the characters and changing their appearances to avoid them looking too similar to the actors who played them.
Chris, Leon, Claire, and Jill from Resident Evil were all face scans from real people, but in DBD their faces have been made that they look considerably unlike the people they are supposed to resemble. Masked characters seem to be very accurate on the other hand, so their art teams clearly have the talent but they're making them look different intentionally.
