Dracula really doesn’t do anything new but he’s an overall safe package that seems to function just fine.

  1. We still have plenty of options for creative killers. Terrain creation, terrain deletion, gravitational kind of pulls, displacements, crawling, jumping (like Victor but bigger, horizontally and vertically), picking up different weapons/items around the map, flying, many different trap and halucination variations etc. etc.

  2. i think a big thing with wolf form is that the actual charge recovery is ridiculously low, if you lunge at a survivor from really far away you can recover and hit them before they have the chance to do anything. Its not a fun way to use the power but its very very effective

  3. I disagree, they should literally just start power-creeping killers at this point. If they want to keep making them, they can’t be lame hybrids of old killers because that will not force up sales for them. If this killer didn’t come with some of the coolest effects in the game and voicelines, there would be no reason to play them.

Frankly, I’d rather be excited for new killers than to sputter a tepid “hooray” when some new killer just remix sprites my last two least favorite killers. Swear they better make Springtrap a huge meme or something if they give him a lame slowdown ability.

  4. Two things: (1) His yellow eyes make him look like he's constantly spooked by something. Almost like he's intentionally holding his eyes open all the way. (2) It feels off that a vampire's power has nothing to do with blood. like, his power isn't "vampire" he just feels like a shapeshifter with a vampiric mori.

  5. It's going to be hard to differentiate the forms. Wolf needs to be 115 with haste orbs. But then Bat will feel less unique and will need a slight buff. & then maybe Vampire needs to be 110…but then it's like why choose the Vampire over the Wolf? So the Vampire would need a more consistent fire wall with less cooldown maybe? Which would make the Wolf better on long loops and holding W, the Vampire better at safe loops.

  6. I think when you turn into a bat, everything should be gray scaled, or black and white, but the scratch marks are still their reddish orange. And maybe decrease the visual range with like a vignette around the visual area, to really play into the blindness of a bat.

There’s one horror game that is played in complete darkness, but you map out the whole game using sonar and a heads up display, which I think that kind of style would be cool for while in bat form. It would make it harder, but then you can just buff the bat form in terms of its speed or something else. It would just make the bat unique to Spirit.

  7. Would be neat if they released a killer called like "The Affection" or something that can charm survivors and like survivors hit by charm either have their movements randomized, reversed, or slowly walk towards the killer

  8. personilty Im just not a fan of getting two killers with muiltbate weak powers over a killer with one strong power. Venca was cool bc that was first time they did it but this time it feels bad. I just don't see a reason to use Dracula over the 3 killers his powers come from. BIG let down for me honestly and don't excitement at all and Im huge Castlevania fan.

  9. I understand ur point but imagine playing wesker in third person, thats what wolf would be if he was normal movement speed, and theres a reason chucky is 110 and not 115. Much better to buff the wolfs dash ability or something or even just wait to see if people learn how to use it, before opting straight for the movement speed buff which is honestly quite lame.

  10. I was hoping the next dash ability would have been a bunch of short but fast casting dashes that would equal the total distance of other dash abilities but has the added skill component of being able to trace the fastest path around loops by mastering the quick input sequences (TLDR: Buncha short Tracers dashes instead of Wesker but a bit different)

  11. wouldn't it be nice if the Chapter Releases were focused on and Hyping Up Really Cool and Unique( And at least kind of fair-balanced for both) Maps that have Cool Designs or Layouts that would lead to special ways the match would play out (Think that one Artzov;s map) Or at least some really cool Designs that would do some Justice to somemissing holes in the expected Lineup(ALL KIll Chapter's Map where, BHVR?) Also why isnt there a giant Big top Circus Map with lots of different kinds of carnival and clown imagery to really hit the coulrophobia look. Heck why not make a map that plays into a visual fears, like trypophobia. I wish DBD had better maps and map design

  12. The part of this video that pisses me off most is Scott saying "this game is so simple and we're running out of things to do with killer designs". That is such an unbelievably sad, pessimistic, and mistaken worldview. Just look at Identity V and you'll see that the problem isn't that that they are running out of options, it's that the devs are lazy and uncreative

  13. Not at all this killer just shows how clunky it is to add 2 second CDs to EVERY actions. Just bringing up your power locks you out of swinging or breaking a pallet for fucks sake plus wolf form is just terrible and the bat for is undetectable but you can hear the damn form from across the map so undetectable is pointless.. This was the devs out of ideas and throwing all the power of other killers together then their only 1 brain cell can only think to put 2 or more seconds of CD or lock out on actions making it feel just clunky and purposefully held back. I'll bet he gets the Veca treatment, over buffed for release then 2 weeks later nerfed to mid or lower tier as always.

  14. I wonder if it's possible for the devs to make another killer like nurse who just completely ignores the mechanics of the game and has totally different counterplay like LOS dodging and stuff. Might be interesting

  15. Bat form and Wolf form need to be undetectable, with a caveat that Bat form is loud as fuck
Scent bubbles needs to either highlight a specific set of scratch marks, or just outright reveal the aura of the player – and show the aura of the scent bubble when close to them
In general so many buffs could be given to make Wolf form better, because just being a wolf should enable so many advantages – speed especially being one of them
But Scent bubbles should be visible regardless of form, because Dracula has great sense of smell regardless
