Very interesting in a good way that Dungeons and Dragons is coming into dead by daylight a franchise that's not considered a horror franchise but it's always had a horror Vibes to it. Since that's the case I like to see Mortal Kombat Shao Kahn to come in the game as a paragraph that would be my dream killer. Mortal Kombat has always had a horror Vibes elements over the years.
That has to be a beholder.
For anyone confused. Behind the gate is a Beholder. One of D&D's most infamous monsters.
But that laugh in the background is most assuredly The Arch-Lich himself. The chained god, Vecna.
Very excited for this chapter.

Why are we getting mike wazowski?
HYPE! The possibilities are limitless here in terms of the survivor, killer, maps and game mechanics. I bet the devs had a lot of fun cooking stuff up for this chapter since D&D has such a huge background in horror. While modern D&D is heroic fantasy, with horror flavored adventures and settings, original D&D was essentially a survival horror game with elves and hobbits (before they legally had to call them halflings) where a wrong step could find you impaled on floor spikes or getting your skin melted off by a mummy. Glad they can finally delve back into that element of the franchise here.
Still should've been a ST part 2 chapter. No one even knows anything about D&D or heard what Vecna does from it.

For all the Stranger Things fans, if you were an actual fan of the show you'd know "Vecna's"" name is "Henry Creel" and WHEN he comes to DBD he will be called "One". Vecna is not a offical name, its just a nickname the kids gave him since everything is like DnD.
