Why don't you consider less available emps? 10 seems like a lot and decreasing them should make them more rare

Honestly they could just make it so that opening the box takes a while, similar to Wesker or Nemesis? Or have the EMPs not begin recharging until the one from that box is used or such. Just some way of making the EMPs slower to get, like you said.
Yep, great killer, fun to go as and against, looks good, BHVR knocked out of the park with this one, the only downsides of this update seems to be the map (unfortunately as expected), and the emps, I think just reducing the number of boxes (so survivors have to walk longer to get one) and adding a 2~3 second animation to picking them up (so they can't be picked mid chase) would be enough of a nerf.
I think too many content creators tested this killer on public games where people were mostly just exploring the new update without caring that much about escaping, so a lot of videos that make the killer look stronger than it is came out and skewed the community's opinion.
As it is I think just 1 good survivor is enough to deny too much of his power by following a chase and using emps along the way to help the chased one.

Singularity is going to be like nurse. Where people either can't get a single down with him, or they just end the game in about 5 minutes. The potential is definitely there, but it would take a pretty large brain to take advantage of his strengths.
I think I’d make the EMP’s spawn faster but make them choose to use them in two modes. Holding right click will charge the EMP and they can then choose to use an AOE blast (styptic prompt) or continue holding right click to remove their infection so that they don’t double whammy fuck your power. They’ll have to choose between destroying your camera shots and disallowing you to shoot them directly to TP.
OR make an EMP activation make a loud noise + give overdrive for longer than a TP does. Survivors shouldn’t be able to EMP for free mid chase.
I think the killer is a little busted since he has base kit Brutal Strength x2, Superior Anonymity vault speed, and Spirit Fury and Immune to stun, with a teleport. I feel he should be a 4.4 move speed and not 4.6. In terms of the EMP's, from my current understanding, it is 30 seconds till the box auto opens i think, I think it should be 60 seconds, maybe 90 if 60 isn't enough. Otherwise 30 seconds to reach a max of 75% is not a bad solution either forcing survivors to open the rest of the way.
Well thats just a SWF problem, just like every killer problem. Log into a match, expect a fun game, NOPE, its the Sweaty Comp Team that you get every 1/4 matches! This new killer will just get clapped by them like nearly every other killer, idk why youre even complaining Scott, you would expect you know these problems already, but still talk like an amateur about the most common of problems.
The survivor's perk that makes you run 3% faster when injured is ridiculous. Look at how fast they are running from you when they are injured it's almost like a hack.
That needs to at least have a cool down or something there's no reason a survivor should always just run 3% faster when injured. Who is not gonna take that perk?

i have played the new killer and imo the emp aren't strong they print too quickly making them feel better then they are and you can reset the hack timer on an already hacked cam, the simple solution to the 2nd one is just make it so you cant re hack an already hacked cam and maybe add a 15 to 20 buffer so it can be re hacked immediately
The main issue isn't how often the survivors can obtain EMPS or that it's an infinite resource- that is entirely balanced because the killer power is also infinite and lacks any form of cooldown.
The issue is the duration that one EMP has. It should not last nearly as long as it does.
That said, there is a counter to EMPs already established in the game. Simply shoot your EMP'd Biopod and shoot again to replace it, it will no longer be EMP'd as it's a brand new Biopod. The issue with this is that you must be close by.
In general, if EMPs disabled for a shorter period, the pressure that EMPs currently apply would be dampened. They're not really meant to pressure the killer, they're meant to remove pressure from the survivors.
I agree though, beyond that simple issue, he doesn't need any real changes and neither do his mechanics.
I think a neat lore way to make this work is the 3d printer only prints the "components" to the emp so that the final 25% is grabbing the finished pieces and spending like 2seconds to craft it, so like the chest prints a "emp kit" which the survivor can pick up then spend like a second or 2 to craft the pieces together, just a neat way to fix them that also makes sense thematically sense a 3d printer typically creates parts not a whole of most things anyway
That would make the survivor role not the power role though.

The killer being able to start you with his globe on you with an addon, then just shoot you to get the basekit spirit fury after teleporting at a loop is too strong.
The type of survivors you are playing against consistently are NOT normal solo Q. Normal solo Q is crap and 90 percent of these players have no idea what they are doing so making the EMP's take longer will make this killer very rough to verse. Maybe try a few matches with solo Q and see if you have the same experiences?

So if you have an EMP you neuter the Killer. If you don't have an EMP the Killer virtually ignores all obstacles (including distance all together!) and eviscerates you in seconds. Interesting…
