Hey everyone, today I wanted to do a chapter ranking, but not by my own opinions but the wider community’s as well my community’s. After I checked the steam reviews for some DLCs I was kind of shocked, and it made me want to make a ranking of the chapters based on the reviews, and I got my community to rank them too by the same system steam uses, which is simply a system where you like or dislike the product, and it results in an overall positivity rating.

My thoughts:
Forged in Fog was a chapter with interesting visuals, and two engaging characters from the exterior, but a killer power without much engagement. It also of course had the borger map, which to this day is still way too bright and has maybe the worst colour palette in the game. Whilst this chapter has a lot of interesting aspects, and has great visual and sound design, the actual gameplay is where it mainly falls down.
Imo: after playing with her, Skull Merchant isn’t really as bad as people say. I like her design because it gives off this cool,cyberpunk/comic book villain vibe,her drones are pretty unique,and the sibling survivors are pretty interesting too. Does she need a few kinks and buffs? Yes but is she as bad as Pig or Freddy? Not really.
I feel like one of the biggest contributors to Silent Hill’s high ranking is the introduction of Legendary skins for survivors when Cheryl came alongside Lisa Garland cuz it essentially opened the door for popular and beloved horror characters to make their way into DBD without having to have perks made for them which essentially made every big horror character fair game for making it if perks couldn’t be thought of for them.
In case of Clown, with him we Got shop for example. God I remember Times when Freddy Got released. It has been so long…
I think that All Kill was mostly liked due to the hype around it, not the content of it. Really, all it did was show who the Kpop fans were in the community. Then when it came out, it was severely lacking. A Survivor with mediocre perks, a weak killer with an annoying power to go against, and no map to go with them which could of been a neon delight.

I agree why People like Wesker, although the game where he is like main and encountering protagonist RE5 is… awful. I think the worst game of the series I habe played. Things might change after playing the 2nd spin off But I doubt it

just recently i watched a video about the history of freddy in dbd. apparently back in his release days he was pretty stupid. going into detail would take too long but he was the reason why the game/the dlc got review bombed back then. kinda weird to think.
I understand the issues people have with Skull Merchant, for example SpookyLoopz video about the new chapter, but I honestly like her. I don't play DbD as my job like on Twitch or anything but as a pretty good casual player I enjoy her.

Pinhead was good, but NFT'S aren't, so everyone decided it was not very good
With legions not recommended comments, I found a lot of old outdated comments talking about release legion needing a nerf
Ino this won’t happen cuz Ghostface is already in the game but it would be so cool if they could revisit that character and made a scream chapter especially since the franchise has been rebooted I would love to see a chapter based of the new more with Sam and Tara being added as survivors and then a map set in the theatre would be so cool. They could even do the legendary skins so the core 4 could be in game – Sam, Tara, Mindy and Chad

I love seeing Sadako Rising get such good ratings. I feel like she gets a bad rep in the DBD YouTube community (not by you Azhy). I think she's really fun to play as and against, and she brings horror back in. I also think she's totally viable to do well with. I grt 3-4 kills almost every game with her and I don't even do condemned-focused builds. It seems many agree that it's a good chapter.
I love the Silent Hill chapter so much! I was a huge fan of the games, so seeing it come to dbd was quite literally a dream come true
