Today we’re ranking the meme add-ons of Dead by Daylight. Add-Ons that intentionally nerf your power as Killer for the trade-off of more Blood Points. For this updated ranking my definition of a meme add-on is going to be adjusted though to include add-ons that seem deserving of the meme rarity due to their effect. So, we’ll include the typically referred to ‘meme add-ons’ but also any others that nerf you intentionally too.

Rickety Chain actually has some use with the Cigar/Tobacco, giving you quick chain breaks and stuns, sort of like a strange version of STBFL
In order to turn off Sadako TVs, you have to take a tape. Then, if you turn off a TV while holding the tape, you get 1 stack of Condemned. Against Iri Tape Sadako, this doesn't matter, since she can't apply the stacks proactively, you don't have to worry about just turning off every TV you feel like. That's how Zarina got Condemned. In order for you to get a Quick Mori, the survivor has to turn off a TV while holding a tape and put THEMSELVES at max stacks. Which obviously nobody who has any idea how the killer works would ever do.

Bubba's Speed Limiter actually pairs really well with the Iridescent Flesh, since even 1-health state hits refresh your charges, you can chain together extra-long sweeps.

Vanity Mirror works well with Dead Rabbit and Monitor and Abuse. You lose a perk slot compared to Scratched Mirror (cos you have to use the lunge extending add-on with scratched) but you move quicker. So it's a trade-off between speed and distance on the aura reading. I've made Vanity Mirror work very well in the past when survivors assumed I was just using Scratched Mirror and that I'd be slow.
jeweled beetle is actually one of wesker's best addons imo, it lets you trap people and turn what can be a long chase into basically an instadown, especially in the basement or close to the sides of the map
The wesker beetle addon is actually pretty good since the survivor gains less time to recover and makes your cool down shorter when you throw survivors instead of grabbing
I love Jewel Beetle. Mix that with the add-on that makes you throw survivors further, and you can force survivors into dead zones very easily
Wesker’s is actually not bad because it can still grant you a hit if you combine it with lion emblem

I turn plague into a patrol plague with it. Meme add on??? More like god tier add on. I use it to close off infinite loops, rig the gens, I even use it to determine where survivors are. First Gen I infected and now someone's sick??? Just double back and molly whop them. Their only 2 choices is sit around and be bored, or try to fix gens and get sick. Try to cleanse? Good, after 4 cleanses my power activates anyway. Literally burying yourself.
I think sadako's reworked iri tape qualifies as a meme addon bc it takes away a massive part of her kit, and she's way less threatening because of it. Survivors just… don't need to manage condemned anymore. They can go up to six bars by turning off tvs without fear because you have no way to get them up to the 7th
When using “The Beast” soot; I tend to run as many Things to amplify my terror radius as possible; making it so they can never truly tell when I’m close or far. Leads to people hiding in front of me because they cannot “Not” hear the radius.
