Gen rushing is such a controversial subject. While I agree with you Red that generally people mislabel it and claim they are getting gen rushed way more than actually happens, though I slightly disagree on it being an issue if only a minor one. Mainly commodius toolboxes and gen perks out of the gate while yes counterable in a few ways definitely imo cuts down the allowable mistakes. You have to play a much cleaner game and in particular your opening can't be sloppy. It feels like free pressure against a killer and a significant bit out of the box. Now yes killers have gen regression but if I'm comparing average players on both sides and how they handle each situation, I think it's a little too much free value for survivors thus a minor problem. But killer mains could definitely do to complain about it less and review the games they get "gen rushed" and see where they screwed up
