  1. The purple guy is William Afton (or Michael Afton, there's technically 2 purple guys and it depends which one we're talking about) he's the killer and springtrap prior to being springlocked

  2. The thing with fnaf is it’s a win for dbd In many ways. But the fnaf community will find something to cancel in dbd mark my words the keyboard warriors are different over there

  3. About the FNAF community, I agree that they are VERY VERY like talkative and like to share everything about it. I make theory videos and if you don't know something or get something wrong, they are VERY vocal about it. It's something that's made me want to make a video about it and try to get other creators on the video for it. Very passionate community for sure. I apologize if the community has been giving you a rough time!

  4. Scott and Steel Wool are working overtime right now xD
FNaF is coming to DBD next year, apparently the 2nd movie is next year too. Then there's at least 3 games being worked on (each being very different from each other). Plus I believe there's meant to be DLC for the 2nd VR game.
I'm hoping that we get cosmetics so you can play as different animatronics, that way they could avoid people complaining about not getting the ones they wanted to play as (well kinda, there's like 100+ so not everyone will get exactly what they want :p)
Been watching videos of the current PTB for Dracula, and that does look awesome so far too!

  5. It's not really the fnaf community that's the problem, It's just some people. And that's just how it is sadly.
Alot of dbd people that i see are also so terrible for no reason. And ofc it's 100% gonna happen so instead of people wasting their time being mad why not be happy
for people that do want it? next time the chapter will be something they like and all of a sudden it's okay.

  6. I mean hey, (unless I get this game on a different system as I'm currently playing on switch) the fnaf chapter is probably gonna be the only liscensed chapter I buy. Soooo you are certain not wrong about the fandoms obsession. 🙂

Just for those who are curious, the other licensed chapters I might buy are the Ghostface and TCM chapters because they look fun to play

  7. I'm honestly just concerned about possible health hazards a fnaf Killer can bring.

Fnaf is a game which has the "horror" label only because it's 90% loud jumpscares and flashing screens, those kind of things (which will become beyond infuriating even for people without any issues after a while, imagine just getting fnaf-jumpscared but repeatedly every 1-2 minutes) can cause issues for many people.

Remember the flashing basement bug? The thing that justified a seizure warning to show up on startup? Yeah I'd rather not have a Killer that has jumpscares and flashing screens/ear-blasting noise as it's entire gimmick.

BHVR, for all their faults and issues, have a good track record when it comes to making licensed content. Even the weakest licensed Killers are lore-accurate gameplay-wise and, even if weak, are interesting and unique in their own way during gameplay. There's no way to make a fnaf Killer without basing it's power around ear-blasting sensory overload-inducing jumpscares, even if somehow they manage to not make the most visually and audibly insufferable Killer yet, there's no way that the Mori will lack the classic "death" animation jumpscare (and the horrid Finisher Mori has been announced…hopefully the community unites once more toward a common goal against it).

I honestly don't really mind an animatronic Killer (although a possible wave of kids following the license is unnerving) but for once, the Killer shouldn't be too close to the source material.

  8. If its one thing behavior cannot flop with… Its the fnaf chapter. This single chapter depending on how good or bad it is will probably determine how long dbd will last in the future. Think about it, the biggest, most anticipated license coming to the game and it turns out to be a mega flop… Thats gonna hurt.

  9. I'm happy for em cause it's something the fans wanted, I personally don't want or care for it but I can just easily not purchase the chapter. But it sucks cause now I know the anniversary won't be much of a surprise. I just pray we get out Space Engineer Isaac Clarke in the game soon, I want a Dead Space chapter. Or to get ppl really mad, cause some many dislike FNAF coming to the game, just drop a 3rd RE chapter and ppl will really get heated. I just also want Jack Baker and the Baker Residents in the game or Krauser lmao.

  10. I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Note: The Interview the chatter was talking about where the Creator Scott was against Collabs was actually a few years ago. 2 days ago (from this comment) was the Interview with Dawko a well known FNAF Creator where he opened up about how he still felt uncomfortable with Collaborations because he didn't want to remove the Identity of Five Nights at Freddy's… but he said that there was one game he felt FNAF felt right in and it would be announced the next day.

He trusted us with his IP! 😊
Dead by daylight is the first official Collaboration with Five nights at Freddy's

  11. bran, from how youre talking about it, it sounds you have a lot of experience with new-age fnaf fans (weird way to put it but you get my point.) There are tons of us who were teenagers when we first noticed fnaf, most people through historic gameplays like Markiplier's, that are now adults. I feel like the people that were there from the start are a lot more chill and msture, but there was a huge surge of fnaf's popularity with younger kids not too long ago as well, so the fanbase is kinda digided by age.

  12. DbD and FNaF are only a year apart in age, I grew up with both of these and wouldn't be the horror fan I am today without either of them. To say its my dream chapter is an understatement. But unfortunately my communities have such negative connotations of each other that it's been hard to just be excited. Hell even now that it's real I still fear the ridicule and downright bullying that comes with associating with a franchise I love. People have been so bitter about this chapter and I feel many older fans like myself are being misrepresented in the crowd here. It's hard being excited when your presence is lumped in with annoying children and cash cows. I really hope BHVR nails this chapter and people can actually enjoy FNaF because of it. I know the fan base can be a piece of work but there are a lot of people like me who matured with the series and are just over the moon that our icon is represented.

  13. As a FNaF fan, can confirm we have a problem :/ I did get DBD for the FNaF collab and gotta say this game is super fun! Glad this collab pushed me to buy the game

  14. It's true it was same for me after playing dbd for 6 months i changed my main from leon since his release to nancy out of curiosity fast forward to 3 months later and i've watched stranger things for the first binge watched every single season besides season 1 in 3 days, and fell in love with nancy wheeler thanks to great natalia dyer's performance and because of her appeal to me i've started to call her my waifu ❤ and the result of that was gaining almost 2000 hours more than previous year's 350 in 7 months, and right now when Fnaf got 2nd collab ever with Dbd i'm gonna be even more excited then i was when st returned and i was able to purchase all skins for my waifu and on 3 diffrent accounts 😂 that's how addicted i was and still and with fnaf i'm gonna to be one of the people you've called which gonna buy every single fnaf thing in dbd just like i did with stranger things and wesker ❤

  15. i watched a bunch of technical fnaf videos with all those movement opportunities, optimal cycles and max mode glitched strats. no idea if all of these can be discovered naturally by playing the games without guides or looking at the code directly.

  16. I think the reason the FNaF community's so weird is because an overwhelming amount of it is just…children, y'know? Let's just hope this mix in communities doesn't make everyone go haywire.

By the way, that was indeed a really wholesome note to end on, thank you!

  17. I hate to break it to people, but there is already a huge fnaf fanbase within DBD. Obviously, it's going to bring more in, but a lot of us already love DBD. I personally didn't care if we were getting a chapter. I also agree that the fnaf community is very talkative. We try to help each other out. But I think if you're asking to learn on your own, then it should be respected. I'm sure they didn't have much of a choice but to announce the chapter. Right now is the fnaf anniversary, so it probably needed to be announced this week.

I will say, I am also a huge castlevania nerd. So it's not taking away from Castlevania for me. Been playing the series since the late 90's. XD

  18. I am absolutely not excited for FNAF. Not because I hate fnaf (I do) but I terribly hate the community. It's cool to see the game grow but Fnaf from my experience is an I.P that is big with children so it also dosent suit in that sense. But we have adults that play this game that act like kids. Having kids that act the sane just seems miserable lol

  19. Been a part of the FNAF community since the beginning, been a part of the DBD community since the ST Chapter. Both definitely have a lot of immature and annoying people in their fanbases but also a lot of talented and genuinely kind people. We can only hope the playerbase becomes less toxic and not more…

  20. One thing that I would always see whenever a new chapter dropped and it wasn’t FNAF was a few FNAF fans would say “why is this [iconic character/property] here before FNAF no one knows this character/property” or “FNAF is way more iconic than [iconic character/property]”

  21. With FNaF and Castlevania, some people can say one overshadowed the other or is better than the other, but in reality, it’s a two cakes situation. We are getting two great chapters. As a fan of both series, I have to say, those two days were very good.

  22. sorry but after you say that you cant do anything to that collab..your wrong..like people can remember what scott donate and why he was cancaled, like i dont like it at all and is his life who donate or not…but people like evil birds just attack him.. and they can cancel collab..by bring all this again..

  23. I never got it. It was a stupid jump scare game that lore was created solely to make sequels. It is literally Call of Duty jump scare franchise. And the fandom is exactly like Rick and Mort, the franchise can be enjoyable but the fans are worse than having a rusty nail slowly pushed through your nutsack while being eaten alive by fire ants.

  24. The funny thing is that Scott asked the dead by daylight developers to announce that fnaf was coming to dbd since it was the 10th anniversary of fnaf on that day. Sucks for Dracula but it was a request from scott and it shows how much he cares about his community.

  25. About the community, i dont get it from someone that sees both.

The fnaf community and the dbd community can have most of the same problems, and all the "child fans" of fnaf either grew up since yknow 10 years of fnaf or are the same childish people you would see in dbd anyways, most people that want fnaf in dbd are already part of the dbd community.

Also the "super obssessed that spends their allowance" feels like it is a thing in ANY franchise and i honestly never met a single one that is not a merch collector by hobby.(which again is common in any fanbase)

Not saying the community is perfect, but its stupid to treat every single fan as an obssessed psychopath.

Also im a fnaf fan since the first game and the only official merch or proper merch i have is 3 books and a poster :v not everyone can whale around and if im gonna do it its not for the bs low quality shit either from fnaf or any other ip i like.
