  1. It's a mix of the right killer, map and the good ol' slowdown perks:

    – I can't say much about the Merchant because i wasn't around DbD during that time frame and i don't know her powers well, but the Singularity is THE 3 gen killer, i don't have to explain why.

    – The maps do help this playstyle, specifically cramped maps and maps with good gens/cams placementd (The game was always nasty)

    – Other killers could pull this off, but you either need to sacrifice information or slowdown.

    – And the Slowdown perks: you simply cannon nerf them and call it a day: they're very important for the balance.

    The solutions are:

    – fix the gameplay (idk how)

    – delete the singularity

    – absolutely destroy the game balance because in fear of another killer pulling it off

  2. Can't wait for behavivour to gut a already rare killer because some survivor with shit perk and no toolbox couldn't do gen…..Deja vu a very strong perk in Asian server could have solved all the issue, i guess in NA and EU learning is not a thing only crying is.

  3. I mean, the game is being held hostage by survivors who just don't want to lose. Take the L, and the match is over.

Killer is allowed to go for wins. Minimizing gen distance is a legit strat. If survivors don't want to risk doing gens, that's as much on them as the killer.

  4. the 3 gen is counterable but no one brings gen perks or tool boxes, everyone brings mft hope lithe and dead hard with a flashlight or medkit cause they want to pretend to be ayrun

  5. I think a solution to this problem is just decreasing overall regression/extra regression from perks on consecutive kicks
This still makes chasing fair like usual while gen camping will be an issue if the killer is not good enough to down survivors quick/refuses to chase

  6. What a loser. Does the same tactic when he’s playing killer, gets it done to him and has a problem with it. You weren’t “held hostage”, you could’ve just died or gave up and moved on to the next match. You choose to stay in the match for that one useless pip. This video just reminded me why i hate this game, nothing but entitled people who think the game should revolve around them.

  7. Coco I usually value ur input but this time I gotta say u didn't do the experiment justice by changing the build.
U used no overcharge no erruption no call of brine no jolt.
These perks are essential for the 3 gen hostage playstyle.
I bet the 3 survivors who escaped at the end would have a different outcome if you'd use these perks

  8. This is totally a design issue. They should increase the minimum distance between 2 gens can spawn or even better… add a new mechanic that can counter it. I read this suggestion some time ago and it was brilliant: adding an item in the basement chest when there are 3 generators left (they called it the monkey paw), where a survivor can switch a completed generator with one of the other 3, but that survivor will be exposed for the rest of the trial and the killer will be notified that this item was used.

  9. yeah agreed not all killer do that much😅 most of killer are a lot more casual player. But again if you are willing to sweat then I think its fair to play against a sweat team too. Most of us play casual sooo

  10. Larry doesnt need a nerf, it needs a rework because its so stressful to play, but if larry players like the killer like it is right now, then dont touch it. The gen perks are the issue, both regressing and progressing perks for gens are the main issue both for killers and survivors, i would be happy if both get out of the game.

  11. I actually had a singularity do almost the exact same thing on The Game. It was really hard and eventually two of my survivor buddys gave up, and eventually the killer gave up at let us do the last gen! It is extremely hard to break a good 3 gen on a singularity with overcharged, call of brine, eruption, and whatever fourth gen perk they put on. Note this was I think BEFORE the decrease in biopod time (when it was like a minute long)

  12. There is a difference between any killer being able to hold a 3 Gen and any killer being able to secure a 3 Gen from the start of the match as effectively as Singularity and old Skull Merchant. I’ve been saying for a long time singularity has the potential to hold 3 Gens and people didn’t believe me. If you had ran the same build in your game, you likely woulda held the game much longer than your 28 minutes.

It’s a product of the map but also a product of specific perk combinations combined with a killer who has the ability to monitor and quickly teleport Gens with progress.

  13. You didnt even try to prove anything with your game coz your build was 0% of a correct one for this playstyle. Like what did you expect rly? 3gen was worse (tho it doesnt rly matter) and build was as bad as possible. I dont even know what this video was about tbh
