Hey everyone! Welcome back to another Dead By Daylight speculation video. Today we’re going over all of the theories that have come out of the Resident Evil teaser and also giving it a bit of an analysis ourselves. Today we’re discussing some fine details and hints that could’ve been overlooked in the trailer and throughout the Resident Evil showcase.

I’m sorry but you’re opinion is invalid, that is 100% Felix, remember this is just a reveal and teaser they’re keeping the characters top secret if you think it’s Leon you’re probably blind or deaf or just ignorant 🙂 you can’t clearly see the outline of his blue suit Leon never wore something like that

  9. Just because I've never played or seen any other resident evil games other then 7,
    I'd Love to Have Joe Baker and his house. and just like Ash having some voice lines,
    I think having some of his would be nice. as for a power… I have no clue.
    He (as well as Mr. X) look to be just super strong. what power would ether of them have?
    Also, Hi again. I still stop by here and there, hope your doing well.

  12. I'll be honest I'm really hoping Mr. X is the killer and Leon and Claire are the survivors with legendary skins for other characters down the line. That would be pretty epic!

  14. About Felix. It actually makes sense, if they haven't finished creating RE survivors' models quite yet. That way, they need a stand-in to be able to create at least something that can characterize DbD in a teaser. But most RE fans, who were the first ones to see the teaser during Capcom's showcase, have no clue about who Dead by Daylight survivors are and it would be strange to see only some random guy, who's not connected to RE during a RE showcase (his model is the only model present in teaser, there's no killer in it). Therefore he is shrouded.
    Him being Felix doesn't matter, he's there merely to represent survivors of the game as a whole. And I think he's a better pick than Dwight or David, 'cause they were already hugely overused in any trailer possible before, so it's kinda boring to bring only them all the time.
    And, apart from being president's bodyguard, Leon doesn't wear suits. Like, ever. It's not his style. While model in teaser is quite clearly in a business suit. And including the fact that BHVR goes for "iconic", some random suit from animated series that's isn't even out yet will not be Leon's default skin, if anything it's most likely gonna be R.P.D. uniform. So I don't think he's "clearly recognizable" there. Claire's quote is much more of a clear Easter Egg imo. And that X is simply a huge stretch, the guy isn't even referred to as "Mr.X" in the game itself or wiki even 😀

    If I were to choose characters for the Chapter, I would pick Leon and Jill as survivors and Jack Baker as a killer. If I were to bet on who's most likely it's gonna actually be, for now I would say Claire (and Leon, if they go for double) as survivors and the Licker as a killer. It could be Tyrant, yes, but at the moment I wouldn't know.

    As for Resident Evil 8 content – it just wouldn't make sense to put it in, logic-wise. First of all, characters from there (apart from Chris) are not anywhere near being iconic yet. Second of all, there would be completely no point in advertising RE8 by June 10 at all, even if this game turns out to be the best masterpiece of a game ever created by the humanity as we know it. May 7 is when RE8 comes out, DbD x RE Chapter announcement (with characters and everything) will happen on May 25, the Chapter itself will come out in June. So why advertize the game, which everyone already knows about? Especially if it's basically a newbie to this big franchise.

    Then again, the only way BHVR can disappoint me with this is making Alice as a sole-survivor and the door, who killed movie-Wesker, as a killer… On second thought, the door would actually be kinda neat 😀

  15. I know it's quite impossible but a boy can dream, I really hope we get Lady Dimistrescu legendary skin considering the theory that she might like stalker or mister X (yeah making her model would be a whole different thing but it's still double"😭😭😭

  18. Yeah my theory definitely matches up with this. That was certainly Leon in the trailer, I saw a theory that it was felix and they covered his face so the new resident evil fans wouldn’t be confused on who this random person is but I don’t personally agree with that. Plus as I’ve said before this aligns perfectly with the infinite darkness series and Leon and Claire feature in that, Leon uses a clover key in RE2 which matches the clovers in the trailer, Claire’s quote etc etc there is a lot. I’m definitely agreeing with you here. And there HAS to be SOME ties here with resident evil 4 remake, as they made sure to explicitly state in the resi showcase that infinite darkness is canonical and follows resident evil 4 by mentioning Ashley graham by NAME. I’m super excited to see what they produce with this chapter. It seems they’re VERY on top of things.
