My rule with challenges: on survivor do AT LEAST 1 gen before archives because if every survivor did 1 gen each, that's 1 gen left to split among remaining survivors. So I can do 1 gen, afk/do an archive/DIE, and still did something for the team while the other 3 work it out who's on gens and who's distracting the killer.
On killer I just run a bunch of slowdowns to buy myself time and hope the survivors are good sports if they notice me playing for hooks/archives instead of tunnelling them out. The ones who are, they're adorable and wish more were like this tbh🥲
