It’s pretty common for Dead by Daylight players to say that this game is a toxic cesspool. Some of them actually claim that it’s one of the most toxic games in the history of gaming. And let’s be real, this statement isn’t completely wrong. However what’s considered toxic today is just a joke compared to what DBD players had to deal with originally. In this video I’m gonna walk you through the complete history of toxicity in Dead by Daylight and show you how it has evolved so far.

🖥️ *OLD DBD*
The footage of old DBD versions that you see in my videos isn’t old. It’s actually new. At least for the most part. I specifically record it for every video by playing old versions of Dead by Daylight with my friends. Yes it’s actually possible, and if you wanna play them too, there is a step by step guide for this in my Discord server. Or alternatively you can do it through the Archives of Dead by Daylight website at: https://dbdca.rf.gd

It’s an asymmetric multiplayer horror game developed and published by BHVR Interactive. It’s a 4v1game in which one player takes on the role of a killer and the other four play as survivors. 1. honestly? during 2v8 it got so bad, that now that it's gone it feels so casual and nice lol. i can FINALLY enjoy it. 2v8 is awful in terms of how it affects the regular queue's quality of player pool, while also leaving anyone who wants to play killer frustrated and waiting 20 minutes for a 5 min match were one or people will die and 6 others will teabag you at three different gates till you go to each one to push them out or wait forever…..more waiting….

So yeah! i have new found appreciation for basic, no frills no events DBD. i really wish we could have some bigger gaps between events honestly…..i love the tomes and free rewards but honestly just ñet us play normally for a bit. There has been like a total of 15 days without an event going on in the last eight months no joke, we jump from the anniversary to 2v8 then lights out then halloween then 2v8 again now to the holidays then chaos shuffle. and 2v8 specially was exhausting, and even more so to content creators and streamers so it didn't even help there.

  2. You know there are tons of keys on the keyboard and controller have a whole 4 directional pad not being used (along with other 6 buttons). Emotes… why did they not do any type of emotes for killers and survivors? It's not even hard you tie it to the cosmetic tab and have it set up in the options to be bound to keys. Hardest part is the actual animation.

  3. notice how most of this is all just survivor stuff then killers doing it back to get back at survivors and yea this game totally has more toxic killers right? the fact is if you T bag as survivor or anything of the sort then you are part of the issue

  4. With the last bit, it is called “being an expressive player”. You play in a way or act in a way that expresses how you feel about a given moment. If you hit a cool clip, you do something that reflects how you feel about hitting a cool clip. You feel like you’ve done something awful, you do something to reflect that. I’m an expressive player, I do BM but not out of toxicity, I do it to express how I feel in a given moment, and I’m often really chill in how I act or treat others, especially in the post-game.

  5. I don't even play the game anymore cause it's way too toxic. I'm still super invested in the lore though, it's genuinely a pretty fun story. I would consider myself a fan, but telling other people that is hard cause the public perception of DBD fans are toxic people who can't keep the N word from leaving their mouth at the slightest inconvenience.

  6. All gaming communities are toxic because gamers are mostly emotionally stunted man children. With the mental capacity of a toaster. I guess it makes sense that something that was originally made for children. Turns grown ass adults into children. Gamers make me hate online gaming to the point where i don't even wanna play DBD or any online game. I don't even tell people i play games because im embarrassed to be associated with gaming.

  7. What blows my mind is horror communities are really cool and chill. With good people. Then i remember this is a gaming community before its a horror community so of course its toxic. Its full of grown ass children.
