For me personally, I like to run windows of opportunity so I can see where the dead zones are. Some map generations are horrific
2:10 I just can`t believe what i hear…
did you say "if you like looping"?!?!
Someone who acknowledges that "Looping being the fun of DBD" is just an opinion, not a given fact that counts for everyone…
I can`t believe it…
I thought people like that were like Unicorns, I would never see one in my life…
OMG. Another video about looping. Thanks Puff!
Windows of Opportunity not only is a good beginner perk but it's also very universal, it helps you see where to go next and connect your loop, it helps you see where the dead-zones are or at least no-pallet zones and it also helps you see where your teammate is getting chased and which pallet they dropped. I run it in every build i have.
I'm gonna be so good at looping nobody will want to chase me!
😔
Cheers puff now I can actually run killers for a solid few gens from advice from this vid and your previous looping vid
you deserve more subs , i love u <3
Definitely a helpful video. Your original video helped me immensely. I'm not a pro looper by any means but I just try not to d1e 5 seconds into chase. I've had much better chases tho. This is even more helpful now. And I definitely agree about windows of opportunity. I don't consider it a beginner perk because skill doesn't tell you what your team has used or RNG. Keeps you away from dead zones. Awesome tutorial! Keep it up!
TrueTalent isn't going to like this one buddy……
good vid, just want to add a couple things
1:10 efficient pathing is more like the general concept of going from one point to the other with the minimum travel time, especially across different loops. A lot of survivors tend to just wander off after a pallet is broken instead of going straight into the closest connected loop, losing a lot of distance. WoO helps with that, but it also becomes natural once you start to remember the layout of each map, as tile spawns are fixed (just the type of tile is random)
6:16 imo checkspots and walking mid chase are just one aspect of one important looping skill that i see most guides overlook, which is confirming what the killer is doing as much as possible. Especially important when looping tall structures, which are fun for the mindgames but most are essentially a 50/50 due to lack of visibility, so having ways to maximise consistency is crucial. This includes waiting/walking at corners taking advantage of your camera fov instead of blindly looping forward, using checkspots, shadows and sound cues (some killers like demo are very easy to track), and generally not panic vaulting when you have no information about the killer's location in the tile. Often it's better to wait or hold W away from an unsafe structure when you lose sight of the killer and let them mindgame themselves
Not sure what was in the first tips video but something that can't be said enough, you need to look at the killer that's chasing you. I get on my friends all the time about this, you can't run away efficiently if you don't see the killer double back or cut you off while you just hold W. Along with this, don't just stare at the killer either or you'll run straight into a dead zone or get stuck on a tree. Look ahead decide your path then spot check what the killer is doing
I just started learning mouse and Keyboard , any tip what sens should I run please ?
Nice one puffs
I've been running 0 loop perks and 0 exhaustion perks (outside of tome challenges) so I can practice the fundamentals instead of relying on those perks from the get-go, and it's really been helping me.
great video, so many useful tips. Windows can legit prevent downs, i wouldn't call it slept on but it being considered a newbie perk is honestly pretty silly. also sad that after the update i won't be able to fake dead hard anymore lol
I don't play survivor. However to have more insight is nice. I think I found a way to counter that cornering maneuver. Also think I found a good perk combo for people that are stingy on pallets. I think my kill rate will go up thanks to this knowledge. See you in the fog!
Thank you for creating this
dope video pace
nice video. thank you
I'd recommend watching a streamer named St1v1 to anybody looking to take their looping a step above. He's an absolute beast when it comes to pathing and decision making in chase. The guy has won dozens 1v1 tourneys against insanely skilled killers. Definitely worth checking out.
begging for subs is pathetic
Got everything down, now it's just mastering the techs. Sometimes I feel like they aren't necessary tho but I guess it wastes the killers time a bit more. 🤔
