The emblem system is MUCH more clear to me now. I was doing some of these things (or trying to), but I didn't realize how much other stuff factored in. Now I know where I to improve in future games. Thank you!

what is the point of ranks? They do not reward ANYTHING upon reset. Before the penalty for leaving a match was removed, i had no issue leaving due to troll killers and non-helpful troll survivors throwing me under the bus. Now that the penalty for leaving is gone, if i get downed within the first minute, i just leave since if i get hooked right from the get go, i'm already at a low chance of escaping, more so if idiots rescue me 10 feet from the killer and i get downed and hooked a second time within the first minute or 2. With the 5th anniversary event adding the +105% BP cakes for everyone, what incentive do i have to stay if i double hooked within 2 minutes, essentially wasting my offering. When the penalty thing was active, i intentionally left troll games to drop my rank so i would not get prick players. Highest rank i got on survivor was 8, i got SOOOOO many sweat killers and survivors who did not cooperate, i started leaving matches right from the start back to back to drop my rank to get matchmade with ppl around my rank for a better chance of escaping. I had a 20min penalty timer before which i just went and got food or did something else while till the timer elapsed. There is zero, ZERO incentive to get high survivor/killer rank, and until there is.. I'll keep dropping my rank intentionally to play with like ranked players. Now, with the matchmake system pairing you up with random rank players, i dont do it as much since i cant really control who i play with.
I'm fully aware MANY will disagree with me and that's fine, that's your opinon and this is mine.

Pip system is currently broken in this game, it’s way harder to pip than it was a few weeks ago before the resi update. Has anybody noticed this?
Kinda don't understand the need to get rank 1 fast, I get it by accident and by being a general moron in my games for the sake of fun

You also gain a bit of Lightbringer points for any gen repair done while you are actively in a chase.
