The new killers are either boring to face or just annoying to face, like when I play against a dredge I can’t see, great just great, or like a knight where the counter is just boring, I don’t want to complain but i don’t really know any way to fix these issues, I feel like these killers aren’t made for fun anymore they’re made to win, and how do they win, lock down a 3 gen and chase no one, I think a solution is look what makes everyone like wesker and do more of that and improve upon it, and look at what everyone hates about knight/SM and not do that

  2. I agree with most things you say here except for the SWF notifier so the killer can run sweatier builds… A) most killers already run sweaty builds, that's just how it is these days. B) the majority of SWFs I've seen (whether as killer, or being part of) aren't there to sweat, they just wanna play with their friends, have fun and make bloodpoints. If anything, the killer should be notified after the match that it was a SWF because otherwise, it would only create unpleasant experiences for the survivors, and we all know how most players have this "I had a bad match so I'll make sure my next opponent will have a bad match too" mentality.

  3. They need to rework toolboxes and gen rushing perks. That’s the biggest issues for killers rn. Fast healing is annoying but it doesn’t matter that someone can heal in 16 seconds when you can’t even get an injure before two gens are done. Honestly, I think it could be argued that corrupt intervention should be basekit too. At least block off the furthest gens until the killer gets a hit off.

  4. Okay but what if instead of doing any of this, they could just keep pumping out chapters that are universally hated, while scraping out any remaining gameplay variety or depth?

  5. The pallet change is interesting, I'll say have the longer stun duration pallets have the fastest break time, that way is high risk high reward for both sides. The killer is likely to respect the stun duration and survivor wont pre drop it because it gets melted quickly.

  6. Locker saves were only fun for swfs. It put the killer in a lose lose situation and was compounded by the more people in the swf.

    Hard to take you serious when youre only thinking of one side and defending that as "fun"

  7. As u said there has to be some reward for the killers for being in the longer chase wiht survivors. I know this from the both side if the killer is in the chase for more than one minute the 2-3 gens could be fixed with toolboxes, perks etc. So my idea is to make a new perk which will be slowing the gen reparing speed if the killer is in chase with one survivor for more than 20 second or something like that + if he hook someone after the long chase something else will happened 😀 Otherwise I dont see any point of doing some funny long chases just for to get a tbagging from toxic survivors 😀

Alot of these just sounded stupid for instance bringing back old eription or the swf notifier so killers can just bring a sweaty build, not all swfs play to sweat, the other issue is giving killers more of that kind of into can be dangerous and depending on the rank u can play against the same killer multiple times. The killer will know this but surviors wont, killers can already tailor builds somewhat in lobby even more so if they encountered that group already

  9. Bro, I can't express how much I relate to and agree with what you explained between 6:36 and 8:56

    I am somewhat a veteran player now, but I have thought of these ideas and features shortly after I began playing. It's absurd that none of this has been implemented yet. The amount of time all dbd players have wasted being held hostage in 3v1 matches after someone suicides on hook is absolutely ridiculous. To me this simply shows how the devs have no respect for the time of their players. It's nearly impossible for a person with a busy schedule to enjoy solo queue. It's fully unplayable at night when nobody plays serious. Which also leads to the other point of having a ranked mode. You can't just throw in completely casual players and fully hardcore players all together in the same mode and expect that the gameplay will be healthy. The playerbase is ALREADY split up. I would say that most dbd players are casual but the game itself isn't. Every truly good player I know has over 7-8k hours and it's obvious the majority of players don't have that much. The game requires a huge amount of time to learn and master.

    A surrender vote and no subsequent dc penalty would also improve queue times (and content creation), which would also allow for the game to split into ranked and non-ranked modes. Surely it won't be ideal, but it would be much better than what we have now. Ranked mode would also give players a goal, since the game feels pretty aimless most of the time.

    Holy shit, I would love this game so much more if they implemented surrender vote and if MMR was visible and we had ranked mode and leaderboards. I really hope the developers watch this.
