  1. If only "Nightfall" was actually a proper NIGHTFALL i think it would be a insanely fun killer to play and VS against, as he stands currently yeah.. He's alright? Exemplary mediocrity.

  2. Similar to Pinhead in the sense that there is potential for a really great killer if small tweaks are made to the recharge time of the power, the movement speed during the anti loop bit and Nightfall

  3. The nightfall is a creative mechanic that I liked mainly because I once wanted to make a fan made killer with that kind of ability to obscure the vision of the survivors, I just hope the devs take the chance to tweak nightfall to make it more impactful

  4. Honestly he’s probably A tier

He’s incredibly good in chase, has insane map mobility.

In nightfall he becomes a bigger threat with a shorter cooldown, faster teleportion, able to track survivors easily and has no terror radius.

Overall and since we know the nightfall darkness is bugged this killer is going to be incredibly good once mastered

  5. My only three problems with him is 1) The marker for which locker you'll teleport to is a little too lenient at times to where it changes to other lockers very easily, if it were to be more strict on how direct you have to have the locker in the middle of your screen then it'd be nice. 2) I personally think Nightfall's darkness range needs to be at around killer shack range or a tiny bit shorter (so about 10-ish meters) so he can get close to you but once he's basically on top of you you'll see him. 3) Either make him WAY darker or don't brighten him up at all during Nightfall. Being in darkness and being undetectable doesn't matter if you're a neon sign that says "killer here"

  6. To be honest i think the dredge is quite bad is he ghost face levels of bad no but i would argue he is down there i dont really understand dbd's approach to some killers coming out strong some coming out weak i feel like with the new content update they should embrace the fact that if they want to sell the chapter it should be a strong release than tone it down as time goes in with the dredge they could literally make his nightfall affect even harsher like true shows in his previous videos of him and make his tp fast no matter what than maybe drop the speed a bit later for non nightfall power like you need to sell the chapter it might catch some people but right now it isnt a seller in my opinion especially for an "anniversary update" killer survivor meh its a survivor you like it or you dont still the same as all the rest of them but the killer at least in my opinion needs to be strong it needs to come out strong and than eventually get lowered not half baked in the oven and coming out like a raw chicken with a little bit of smoke attached to him but again the devs are super survivor biased so i guess it makes sense why every killer besides pinhead recently is quite garbage

  7. Why not making survivors search for tools around the map like a wrench, gasoline etc to really start working on gens… That will make survivors waste more time and the gen rush just stop or atleast it gets a huge slow down… I am so tired playing killer and survivors constantly tbagging and flash noises and gen rush dude..

  8. Amazing original killer design for the most part, but the Nightfall is the biggest letdown. Don’t think I’ll be returning for this year’s anniversary unless things change

  9. Devs have stated that nightfall is currently bugged. In live the survivors wont be able to see as far and killer wont be as white as he is now. But they said don't expect darkness right up close to them, it will be minimum 13 meters visibility.

  10. kinda wish they made this killer actually stand up to the current meta but looks like its just gonna be a better version of onryo tbh, the design is cool but it wont be meta changing

  11. People calling him tier B or low A is actually crazy, this guy is at best low S/highest A tier. You are not considering he doesnt know the tiles of this map, he wasnt using addons, he is running shitty perks and he didnt even use them during the match. This killer in the good hands is going to be as oppresive as blight, mark my words

  12. Honestly, if the games situation would be different I might think hes fine but with so many players leaving and killer being so unbalanced hes just another one in a disappointing line of "can't use against my MMR" so that makes me feel sort of angry and sicne I stopped playing months ago this is not making me come back as killer main.

I tried survivor on the PTB and it feels like you can loop him for days (anti loop makes him slower gives you opportunity to gain shift W distance af) which from the surv perspective is super fun but will continue to kill the games killer player base…

  13. He feels at least better than ringu but that's not a high bar to cross.. Again, visually great job, I love the look and animations of him but nightfall needs to be fixed for him to be big threat. AND if on top of nightfall they would give some add-ons as his base kit, then he would really be a strong killer. He has alot of pontential as many killers do in ptb, it all depends how he is handled. We can only hope.
I always appreciate anti loop at least 👍

  14. I think they should get rid of the white light on him during nightfall. Also I do hope they give the nightfall some QoL and finishing touches before he goes live, otherwise I do think he is pretty cool!

  15. The perks the new killer brings seem very nice, they are not utterly broken but they aren't weak either. The power seems a tad underwhelming, but some tweaks before the full release could easily fix this. The map seems really cool, thats all I have to say on it.

  16. I'm happy to know apparently the nightfall darkness is a bug it should cut off more vision from the survivor point of view and Dredge shouldn't glow until he is closer though I don't think he should glow at all. He's a little like Freddy, multiple weak abilities put together so he does a little of everything. With the faster teleportation in nightfall you basically need that to be really good in chase.
He slows down too much when using the remnant though.

  17. Honestly, I'm nowhere near top MMR, so I can only speak for all of us low-to-mid-level casuals:

I really love The Dredge! Designwise, it's the best and most frightening killer DbD has ever created, his power AND his antiloop seem extremely balanced and well thought out and going against him is pure terror, if you let yourself sink into the atmosphere.
The only thing that could need a little overhaul is Nightfall, but the devs already said it's bugged on the PTB and should be a little scarier once he goes live.

Plus: his lore says, he's somehow connected to the Elder Gods, so that opens the doorway to any other horrifying creature from H.P. Lovecraft's universe, which is always a plus for me!!

  18. Tbh the only buff he needs is to reduce the darkness radius from 24m to something like 14m or 10m. They also should remove the white aura bcs its just dum.

  19. Pretty sad but i think Dredge will get nerfed hard. It’s a noob stomper. Casual players will be incapable of countering his anti loop and will complain heavily about his teleportation (Freddy was nerfed with arguably worse teleport). Add working darkness and they’ll be like headless chickens. Devs will def tone it way down for casual survivor players
