Had my first legit cheater in my stream the other day, sadly they did escape, but like, if you're cheating in this game, you're sad. BHVR actually took action within hours and I got the report when my game crashed and I came back in. Was surprised tbh.

It is funny to see cheaters lose! I get that they need cheats to be better… but must be really bad at the game if cheats still don't help you out! Imagine exiting the game because you were going to get mori'd then comeback and say the other person was mad!

I doubt they'll need to spend money. They probably have dozens of accounts ready to go on Epic. And they'll have immediate access to all characters and cosmetics, as shown by her banner. They just need to start up the cheat again and maybe not be so obvious.
Tbh I might have to look out for this more when I play killer I probably would've just hit you too just thinking you were sand bagging
I had a cheater that made it where I couldn't use basic or special attacks. Only walk around and he/she even made it where the other survivors couldn't open the exit gates either
You have to report cheaters in game AND on the support website, you know that, right?
To be fair a guy using controller on a spirit makes no difference dude all you need is ears abd spirit is that overpowered with her power that even you can beat cheats with her. Idk why hes acting like a little speed boost will do anything vs this killer. Even with aura reading you still kill her if anything spirit is soo powerful that it can beat hackers
i ran into this person when i was playing killer the other day and i immediately dodged lmao. 20 something year steam account with only 9 games (only got 5 games on the 14th of december) and legacy pants was so obviously a cheater

I spoke to a cheater while I was playing survivor and they said they don't have to pay for accounts. They use Xbox game pass to get free DBD accounts, unless they have a stream account.

i was against an unknown on crotus prenn and this "p100" Dwight got downed, teleported halfway across the map, and once the killer realized that they just DC. I called him out and he acted dumb, next time i booted up DBD i got a notification my report on him went thru. Karma's a bitch

I lately started having salty survivors even if i tried to 12 hook them the gens we re done ,i dont mind getting blinded but i mind when they get salty ,as to hackers i hope i will not habe any

Ye im refusing it play dbd now, I'm a high-mmr Knight (yes think whatever u want abt knight), and the amount of subtle cheaters is crazy. Sure sometimes u think they are hacking when they arent e.g wiretap aura around shack, other haste perks, in which GGs to them. But I even had a twitch streamer (small one), along with their SWF and I was getting downs at a considerable rate until its almost like they toggled their cheats halfway through, constantly outrunning guards, getting distance in chase, predicting a considerable amount of loops. It just seems crazy for the game to be going at a normal pace, then to considerably change without them popping any gens until after the weird stuff started happening. I even had a 3 gen that they were all able to pop with gen rushing perks, 3 boons and overzealous. I consider myself not a sweaty killer but still like to win but avoid boring tactics like slugging etc. BHVR needs to revamp the report system and should allow us to replay last couple of matches with the ability to report and maybe even flag certain moments. Also I know killers cheat too, just from my POV as killer main.

The most embarrasing part of this is that theres literally no reason to cheat in dbd. Its already survivor favoured just run meta perks and youre already set to shit on 90 percent of killers

last time I heard, cheaters can just make new accounts on epic-games because the game is/was free there? Never used epic-games myself, so can't say for sure, but if it's true, then yeah…
One time during a subathon I did a blindfolded killer game, thought it would be fun to try AFK Tombstone Myers and see what happens. Obviously I couldn’t see, but I had a Jake who was a cheater. He flew up to me and I just grabbed him and killed him with Tombstone
he DCd but made it look like he escaped, and then called me a wh*re in end game chat

Cheaters are really annoying, but you know what pisses me off more? People who team up with them or pretend they never knew. Some people will do anything for a win.

If December taught me anything, it might be the year of cheaters. I have had three reports actually go through in December alone and got contacted back saying actions have been taken. All mine were survivors and assuming that will be that case seeing how it's easier to hide and you technically don't need to use them if the killer never comes to you.

Second game I played as killer in the new year already had a cheating survivor with wall and speedhacks in it. I feel like 2025 is gonna be another rough one on that front.
