I am very sure that there will be no drama, because it was a long time ago. Everyone moved on from it, nobody is even talking about this drama story anymore, and it is no longer relevant anyways.
I think there are very few horror licenses that straight up should never be in DBD. FNaF is not one of them.
Like Jeepers Creepers (I don't think I need to explain), Hello Neighbor, and Garten of Banban are some that come to mind. The latter two because they are heartless series that have almost zero redeeming qualities.

I have wanted Springtrap in dbd ever since the first time he was announced of being added. I really hope he makes it into the killer selection of characters. It will crush my soul if he doesn't get added.
Personally Springtrap would be suitable for both kids and adults because of the games and how scary the topic of FNAF can be. Everyone including me will love this being in the game. There shouldn't be any drama in the first place because FNAF is such a great franchise to include in DBD and alot of people can agree on that.

Honestly, due to the Fnaf movie coming soon and the DBD movie being made by the same studio, I think he has a chance of coming in possibly as a Wesker situation where we got the dredge as the anniversary and Wesker as the next.

1. Everyone who played fnaf when it came out are all 20+ by now.
2. Every political view has its negatives and that's all he did was use his money to better the future. Saying he was a monster for it is saying 50% of all voters are bad. Yet no one brings up the fact the even though he's a devoted Christian, he provides charity and support to the LGBTQ+ community.
3. The DBD community already has a loud minority of a toxic childish sludgepool community. Nothing the devs do is ok with them and everything wants to make them Uninstall.
4. Lastly adding springtrap would be a goldmine for DBD. Maybe bigger than resident evil. Every fnaf youtuber would play, their fans would play, the infinite amount of cosmetics the list goes on.

I think need to understand that just because you voted for someone doesn’t mean you agree with everything the throw out. Everyone has priorities and it’s not fair to assume someone’s characters or beliefs based on politics. Nobody likes politics. Scott’s priority in voting was to have a strong economy and protection against other countries. Leek is a great creator and I know that he knows but everyone else needs to understand that the candidates he voted for weren’t just preaching anti lgbtq they were also preaching for desired outcomes from Scott.

I've seen them play Grand theft auto,call of duty,halo, and even some other horror games. I forgot to mention some parents actually let them play on their devices even some parents encouraged to play with them.
Oh and my thoughts on FNAF if it was on DBD. I welcome with open arms. Another video game horror character always good in my book. I hope the add the original as legendaries freddy,bonnie,foxy and chica.
I've always wanted springtrap in but honestly i think it will not happen, the idea gets too much hate so i doubt BHVR is gonna want to do it sadly, from their perspective it's just not worth the risk especially considering their past support of pride would contradict supporting scott cawthon who is written as anti-LGBT by news outlets.

No hate, I don’t care that people grew up on FNAF I don’t think it would be a big hit like some other franchises that most people like and if they don’t want it they don’t not want it. I don't like Scott personally, but there is such a thing as separating art from the artist. I love FNaF all things considered, and having Springtrap would be cool to see.
I feel like people need to really take a step back and understand that people who have fame and popularity aren't meant to be the idealized human. Scott made some mistakes and did some questionable things, but that's the human experience and it should be allowed to be lived out loud.
Think about it the kids that played FNAF when it first came out are now adults as for me as well n SpringTrap is my Dream killer in the game n no matter what killer comes to dbd whether it’s original or licensed there’s always gonna be ppl creating drama for that killer due to bugs or just cry baby survivors In my opinion I think SpringTrap would be great for Dbd

The "springtrap doesn't fit in DbD" argument is absurd at this point. We literally have a Kpop killer, the Skull Merchant, Wesker, Alice in Wonderland cosmetics, most of Clown's and Legion's skins. They even managed to adapt characters like Pinhead and Sadako into the game, but SOMEHOW Springtrap is still that one character who doesn't fit in the game
I think the biggest problem with a FNAF character coming to DBD is actually being able to get the creator to agree. FNAF has been kept a PG13 series on purpose. No matter how dark the storyline is it never actually crosses the line to more mature. Sometimes you really have to dig into the symbolism of the narrative to even understand that the story is more than scary animatronics go boo. It seems Scott Cawthon wants FNAF to be the Goosebumps of video games. I’d be really surprised if he let his characters be used in a mature rated game.
