Is Getting To Prestige 100 In Dead By Daylight Worth The Effort? | Dead By Daylight

In Today’s Video, we will be discussing why getting to Prestige 100 in Dead by Daylight is not worth the effort. In the future, it may be worth obtaining, but for right now, it is not. Join me for a quick discussion on why! Thank you all for your TyM!

Additionally I would like to say that this is all subjective and you don’t have to listen to me by any means. I for one have 4 prestige 100’s (going on 5) and will continue to Prestige 100 any and all characters I want because that is how I enjoy the game!

  1. The worst part is you don't even get an achievement or anything for it on Steam. I hope those Player Banners they're gonna add have something special for P100s banner unique to the Killer/survivor they maxed out.

  2. Getting a single P-100 is the equivalent of getting 0
P-3 of ALL characters. One has a obvious reward of allowing you to have any build on any killer at anytime .
For survivor it’s even sillier , all survivors are just skins of each other , but once you p1-3 every survivor there is little to do other than p-100 a survivor .
At least with killer you get different ad ons to have different playstyles but once you hit 20-30 you have enough add ons to go on for ages . My Pig is only 50 and she has hundreds in hundreds of anything I would want to use .

    It’s worthless , pointless and a major grind . I’m doing it anyway .

  3. Side note I would love an acknowledgment of getting adepts . Something as simple in the post match screen as having ( adept ) next to any players in the lobby that have adept . Or now they are adding calling cards one that tracks your adepts would be fun . Rather than something you do once for the achievement you could make it a challenge and see how many you can get . Someone like clown or demo wouldn’t be so bad all 3 perks are pretty good but on the other hand pig and wraith would be very challenging . Imagine having a hard game as survivor and in the end game screen you see ( The Pig) Adept -87 . Well no wonder I lost this pig is cracked out of her mind .

  4. I'm currently putting in the work into p100 my nea as I main her all the time. I don't play anyone else and play killer not too often so I feel like trying to p100 my nea isn't too bad. I also plan on after doing that to p100 my myers since I mostly play him when I play killer.

  5. Having a thick skin and ignoring timmys and rogers complaining about you killing them is ok. Even if you fail sometimes, you come back stronger with strategies. And you triumph with the 4K

  6. If you only play Survivor: its very simple, get all survivors to P3. Then play the one you like and use BP for the right toolboxes, party streamers etc.
If you play both, then focus should be getting each survivor and killer to P3. Then as each new character comes in less perks on the blood web to unlock to get their new perks to purple on them.

  7. It's not even a "worth it" kinda thing in the first place. If you're gonna keep playing DBD, you're GOING to reach P100 eventually.

If you aren't going to play often or for the long run, then you probably won't.

As far as "worth?" You get Level 50 bloodwebs over and over so it's always iridescent add-ons.

just depends how much you really like the game and plan on playing for. I'm in it for the life cycle of the game so you can expect me to have all characters P3 (MINIMUM).

Currently I only have a P100 Feng Min, P12 Kate, P8 Ace, P6 Sheva, and everyone else is P3 or P1.

On the Killer side, my highest prestige is only a Cenobite at P6 lol

  8. Some cool concept i had for p100 survs is that at 50,75,100 you would get blighted cosmetics like how the killers looked. Kinda like a blighted corrupted survivor.

Also they say they don’t want to add any more prestige rewards because they don’t want players to feel like they need it. If ppl feel like they need if they will play more and playing more keeps the game alive so WHY WOULD THAT BE A PROBLEM?

  9. As someone with a Prestige 100 Knight, No, of course not. Especially if you're a new player. But, If you already own everything, and Blood Points are like rain during a storm for you, then yesn't.

  10. How I’ve decided to do the reworked prestige system is: 1st get all characters to P1 so I have every perk as I go further, 2nd get a character to P6 to get their bloody cosmetics (I bounce between a killer then a survivor in a loop), 3rd Once I’ve done that I’ll probably just pump up one killer and one survivor to be my P100 trophy

  11. Hahaha the p100 shaming. The dbd community is sensitive when you compare them to the cod community. I just got suspended from my ps account for 3 days cause of dbd lol but I’ve said and done wayyyyy worse on cod 😂😂😂

  12. i think the bhvr response makes sense because p100 is a grind whereas limited time cosmetics are purchasable and take no effort. so while it’s cheap and shows that the only care about money, it makes sense
