Well, this wasn’t a fun video to make. It looks like some big changes might be coming DBD’s way… let’s talk about it.

  1. Can’t wait for some of the best perks to be free on any killer blood web, first we got.

    “Dwight’s fall”
    “Survivor chili”
    “Knock down”

Edit:Also if they think taking bubba from us will make me play their new game than their mistaken, i’ll just be annoyed that people who didn’t buy bubba will not get to know how fun he was.

  2. Clearing up a mistake: DBDLeaks did not ever say ST was coming back in December. This came from a fake leak through Schmuckles (not his fault). DBDLeaks has repeatedly said they don't know when ST is returning.

  3. I think it’s fair to say DBD players that strong supporters of the game shouldn’t support The Texas Chainsaw game, we can’t let the world run us over, it sucks for the devs who made the game, but the suits need to be held accountable for their stupidity, the two games would’ve easily co existed, also it sets a precedent for any other future license holders to think about how much screwing over DBD does not help them in this genre, say what u want about DBD but the thing is DBD is an original concept with the ability to expand itself very far in the horror genre, Texas Chainsaw cannot expand past it’s own franchise, which is why DBD will be on top until another comes out that isn’t tied to a specific franchise

  5. You hit this point on the head.

Also one of the funniest things is that TX chainsaw “players” I say that because they haven’t touched the game once and are high praising it as being the best asym game that isn’t out or even playable yet.

They are saying they don’t want dbd players which says to me they don’t want a playerbase lol

  6. As someone who loves TCM and was super excited to play the new game, I no longer want to now. Also the only license I would ever be okay with leaving or even want to leave is Hellraiser, and I would quit DBD if they ever removed Silent Hill.

  7. So is it 100% confirmed or is this speculation and rumors has it been officially confirmed. I am concerned about the future of the game if this is true but I’m hoping this is rumors. Also to those saying that they are glad bubba is leaving you really shouldn’t be other killers can be used to camp and not everyone who uses bubba camps. If we lose a license the game could lose players and more licenses. If it gets confirmed that bubba will be leaving I will be sad for new players not being able to get him. I already have him. I am really concerned about what this might do for dbd in the future

  8. The thing about Ash vs Evil Dead is that both DBD and Evil Dead: The Game are licensing that content from I believe STARZ. So it won't be leaving DBD anytime soon as STARZ has no real stake in Evil Dead: The Game. They're just collecting two paychecks by allowing these companies to use their licensed content.

With that being said however, Evil Dead The Game has had issued working with STARZ, hence why AVED has had no DLC content at all so far. Most of the games DLC has been from Army of Darkness which is owned by (I think) Lionsgate, who have always been more than happy to work with people who are looking to make Army of Darkness things.

Maybe if AVED did get pulled then DBD could do an Army of Darkness DLC with 1993 Ash as a survivor and Evil Ash as a killer?

  9. I don’t really think the chapter is as expendable as you think. This is a big deal not just because of the loss of Bubba but because of what it means for the game. He is a classic horror icon and his removal is a big deal in the sense that we will never have all the icons in this game at the same time. While stranger things was a huge loss and we lost a lot more content. I honestly think losing Bubba is worse.

  10. All licenses are subject to expiration, the question for them becomes will the license expire before it loses relevance. With DbD still going strong there's a fair chance of other licenses also coming up on their expirations but even DbD wont last forever and will eventually fall out of relevance.

  12. Out of all the licenses to go. Bubba is a big lost, think you are underestimating this. Is it gonna kill DBD? No, not at all but people love Bubba in this game. Even when I watch DBD streams and its a Bubba killer, the chat goes crazy and they get hyped to watch their favorite streamer survivor go against a Bubba.
Even when I play and its a Bubba. I say to myself "OMG its a Bubba" and its the only killer I think that about when I go against a killer.

  13. I'm super happy to see Bubba go. If pin head goes next that would be great. Would be the 2 most annoying killers gone. Only license I would miss would be the Silent Hill one cause the midwitch school map is really neat.
